I may be wrong, but I think that’s what good QB coaches do.

Sloan has proven nothing when it comes to developing a young QB, and Nuss is probably a great example of this since he is making the same mistakes as a 4th year junior that he did as a true Freshman.

Idk what to tell you man. One of the best QB recruits in recent memory seems to be turning down millions up front to get coached by him. I’d say that speaks more to his ability than your assessment

This is a picture of Phillip Wright. Former Michigan WR commit who flipped to LSU.

Hopefully it’s a good post saying he’s staying at LSU with his teammate that flipped and not him saying they need to offer his teammate more money as well so he’ll flip back to UM with him.

That's not how this works. You are worth what the market demands for you, not what a previous market demanded for a previous player

Any qb they go after in the near future will point to this deal as what they want. Doesn’t matter if it’s warranted.

I feel like you could paint us in the desperate category as well.

Feel free to compare the offensive talent levels and stats between the two programs, especially including their 25 classes. For whatever issues we have, this isn’t even fricking close. Michigan lacks elite athleticism and now also no longer has the strength across the line and running production that carried them the two previous seasons. Their OC is also struggling a lot worse than Sloan.

Could be better isn’t the same as desperate.

Truly don’t get what fans like you gain hoping for the worse and being negative when by all indications he’s locked in with LSU including posting an LSU jersey on his story right after this report. Not every kid wants to stay at home after HS and by all indications this kid wants to play in the SEC so gtfo with that BS

That dickhead isn’t a fan. He’s never been anything but a troll.

Nuss isn’t a young QB either, dumbass.

If you don’t think Daniels developed through and after 22, then you should just give up watching the sport.

Well I'll take JD5 words on how key Sloan was to his development over you.

As much as I'd like to see him at LSU, if the the rumors are true that's a substantial amount. There are no guarantees he will make it to the NFL. If he is truly as talented as he appears, then he would get drafted from any school he plays at.

If the QBs in question don't have the athletic measurables and winning pedigree that Bryce has then they can ask for whatever they want, but they shouldn't be surprised when they don't get offers anywhere close.

You want to go to a school that will maximize your potential because there is a big difference between even getting drafted in the top 5 and top 10. Perfect example for this situation is look at the difference between Jayden Daniels rookie contract and JJ McCarthy rookie contract. From the little that I've seen of Bryce and his family they are focused on the long term which is very impressive in this day and age.

Also people need to stop acting like LSU isnt going to match the NIL offer he gets from Michigan. Like Shea said, we won't be outbid.

So every outfielder for the dodgers is going to want Ohtanis contract lol?

Your logic is retarded

If they want a 4* QB and everyone else is offering him 500k you think he'll turn down 800k from Michigan and demand 10.5 million?

It's also Nuss' first year starting which doesnt always go well for everyone, regardless of talent level.

The classic "Remember Joe Burrow in 2018?" 4th year guy who frankly wasnt any good at all till the very end of that year. He threw 16 TD all season long, and 10 of those came in the final 4 games

He had 4 SEC starts in a row without a single passing TD (and 4 INT). We got blanked in 1 of those games and only scored 19 in 2 others.

Objectively, he really shouldn’t. He’ll still get a few million from LSU and be developed by the same guy that developed Jayden Daniels into a Heisman and NFL stud.

That’s worth a lot more than a few extra million up front.
The cost of living in Ann Arbor is above the national average by over 15%. The cost of living in BR is below the national average. It's not Mississippi to California difference, but it's pretty significant. Average house cost is half a mill there.

Personally, i don't know if LSU' 5 mill package is 3 years or duration of his stay past 3 years, but we know for a fact Michigan's is split into 4 years. IMO, you're essentially talking 7.5 mill over 3 years compared to 5 mill over 3 years. Add in the cost of living (doubt you're dorm living with that money), and the obvious limits of Michigan's offense compared to LSU (simply put, as long as you aren't a turnover machine and can run, you'll dominate in this offense), and their QB coaching, and LSU seems way more like the safe pick.

Me putting on outside, looking in glasses, if my goal is the NFL at QB, it's not Michigan. He's going to be blocked with a great OL (watch LSU with Daniels and the time he had), and have elite talent everywhere to showcase his skill playing against the best teams.

Desperate program and a desperate fanbase. I seriously hope that the NCAA drops the hammer on them and vacates all of their wins from 2021 to 2023.
