Yea, he’s big time. Play him every year. LSU’s skipped the coast since Kelly’s staff arrived. I’m not bitter…probably for the best.

Cool. Put him in the S&C and develop him and he could be a solid future contributor.

Wow his tape doesn’t look like a 3-star recruit. Needs to work on getting his pad level lower, but overall a powerful and dominant OL.

I watched him against Newman last year. He's a mauler with a nasty streak. On one play he drove his guy from the 20 through the end zone and took out the back judge with him. He stays on blocks and moves very well for his size.

You wore No. 73 as an offensive tackle for Many High in 1989.

Every year there are 2-3 Louisiana natives that get drafted that do not attend LSU. I think BK will remedy that real quick.

Frank Wilson is leading this charge.

To add to your stat, Frank asked the staff why LSU is bringing back LA players via portal that didn't have an LSU offer out of HS. Where did the evaluation process go wrong that allowed SEC-caliber LA prospects not to get an LSU offer?

Something to remember: LSU's leading returning receiver and potential first-round draft pick, Malik Nabers, got a signing day offer because LSU whiffed on other prospects down the stretch.

No

Rak was class of 2020. Didn't get drafted btw. Also, Jermaine Burton from that class is most likely going undrafted in '24 as well. LSU melted after losing both of those guys.

Nabers was class of 2021

Easy answer. O was too busy star gazing out of state kids he had no realistic shot with and chasing tail.

He doesn't play for many, also Jesse is not the coach at many anymore.

Jess Curtis is the Natchitoches-Central coach. Cryer is his star player.

I mean he may not be paying the best of the best but

He will be playing against 5A competition this year and in a really good district that 6 of the 8 teams made the playoffs last year. It doesn't get much tougher in Louisiana. He has the opportunity to prove his self.

Tackett Curtis isn’t his son. Jess’ son is the Natchitoches-Central strength and conditioning coach
