Not gonna lie, I don’t “follow” posters on this board, but your ranking and evaluation of those running backs always stuck with me and we’d be a better football team if we would’ve prioritized Sheppard. Hes a baller. Impressive evaluation, you saw what we didn’t.

I also was / is a huge Berry guy. You see now that he has an understanding of blocking scheme. There’s no doubting Sheppard having a better start to his college career. The next few weeks will be telling for Berry.

Also, it really shows how bad the Oline and coaching were last year.

I think people are missing the boat here. This isn’t a Berry vs Sheppard argument. LSU was always going to take Berry.

The bigger issue was Lindsay vs Sheppard. That was the atrocious decision given how stupid Lindsay turned out to be.

It's not that though. Kiffin said in so many words last night in his presser, that he had been running scared, and mentioned his HS competition, which everyone on this board was in denial about.

Nate is from the local area and played at Mandeville. He was an excellent many sport athlete as a young boy. I coached him for a season in basketball (he was a very good PG that excelled on offense and defense).

His older brother, Will (Miami Dolphins WR) was also a great athlete and toughened Nate up as a youngster as he was coming up.

Its great to see him have so much success, but I have to admit that I did not see him making this type of impact in football at the college level.

I wish him nothing by health and success.

Id love to see him at LSU next year.

I know. Frank Wilson did not like him.
He took his best offer which was Duke.
There were quite a few candidates at RB that year. Maybe he doesn’t like the 24 dive.
