I would be concerned that if the second kid did not get immediate playing time he would say "I am a leavin'" via the portal

Going to be interesting to see what the staff does at QB in the 2023 class. Tough to convince top guys to sit behind Walker.

Its probably why schools like Bama take a top QB every other year. They took a QB in 2021 but he wasn't a top prospect. Then in 2022 they took a top 10 QB.

Like the aggressiveness but I also think if Howard lives up to his potential, it will be hard to get another 5 star sit behind him.

Jalen Milroe was a 4-star, top 100 player. Second ranked QB in Texas, ahead of Nussmeier and behind Ewers.

Ok. So what’s your other options? To not go after highly rated QBs every year because they might transfer? That doesn’t make sense. What happens if you don’t get a good QB and the one you currently have gets hurt or transfers himself? Then you are stuck playing a not so great QB for a year or two.

Football has become a QB game almost exclusively. Yes Georgia showed it can be done without one but you better be stacked as frick in all other positions.

Recruit the best players every year and let it play out. Don't worry about a kid transferring because he is not getting playing time. You have starters transferring schools these days to schools that can't guarantee a starting job.

I think that was a tongue-in-cheek pun based on the guys last name/Twitter handle.

Interesting that the receiver is a 2022 offer. That makes it seem like they were looking for more than one WR in the portal.

Every guy they’ve offered so for looks really good on film. I also like that the QBs coach is talking to the QBs and the OL coach is talking to the OLman. It’s all well and good if a RB’s coach recruiting in Florida spots an OLman, initiates contact but then passes him onto “Bad Brad Davis” to continue his recruitment. I would think that’s how it works but not sure? Then when the RBs coach goes back to Florida maybe he can just go visit him again or Bad Brad can go with him and invite him to camp at lsu or come in for a visit to get a close up look at him.

It's just good to have a competent coaching staff, that's willing to put in the work.
