Could success as a freshman for a D’ville bro sway him? That and being on every BU highlight? I know I know, Nike money. But that doesn’t get him to create a brand for himself like dominating the tube with him and BU

Don't think it matters.

I think it gets thrown around too much, but pretty much everything Moore has done during his recruitment has pointed towards money being the most important thing to him.

Get Gordon was on Moscona yesterday saying it was a back and forth negotiation for a while with LSU and Oregon. Then Oregon made a ridiculous offer and Moore did not even call LSU to negotiate it.

We're good and he's good. LSU has speed for days. Our three WRs in this class all offer different things at the spot. Meadows is like a Tetairoa McMillan type of physical presence at WR. Francis is a physical big bodied guy made for the dirty work. He's going to be in the slot. Phillip Wright is the burner. The deep threat that we need to continually keep this passing attack explosive. We'll develop him unlike what happened with Palmer here, who couldn't get right until he left LSU.

Moore will light it up at Oregon, but LSU is WR U for a reason.

Being cool with someone you play with in HS during NIL era isn't going to sway someone to pick a school.

I’m not talking about sour grapes, but this might be the best thing for us.

He probably wanted seven figures for one player. And granted we do have those. But if you can get three great receivers for the same amount and they end up just as good or might even be better. You never know.

Hes also lost to Oregon and not a school in the sec for which you’ll see twice in four years.

This isn't 2010 recruiting.

Biggest bag wins now (90% of the time).

He was actually referring to a friend involved in NIL from Texas. LSU wasn’t even in the balllpark with those two programs

Mascona and Gordan McKernan were talking about NIL and his name came up. Supposedly he was all Texas but wanted to go visit Oregon. Gordan said the deal he had worked out with Texas was for 1.2 million per year. He went to Oregon and what ever they offered him Texas didn’t even try to convince him to stay in Texas. It was an interesting discussion about how the NIL stuff was going on. He said that Collin Simmons really wanted to come to LSU but Texas offered him too much money for him to turn down. He also said that 5 stars and high 4 stars NIL deals usually are 750,000 and up per year

Respectfully, we have speed, yes...but we don't have his speed. Selfishly would have loved to have him on the track team as well. Those guys who are coming are not faster than he is.

If the kind of money Gordon is talking about is being thrown around, he’d probably be an idiot to pass on it.

Read somewhere that Dan Lanning is a consideration for the Florida job.

If Lanning leaves Oregon, that is the only possibility . . .

Phillip Wright is faster and Jelani Watkins is faster. Again, we have speed to burn.

I mean... if they were tight in HS--which I assume they were/are, at least to some extent--then they were also tight in HS when moore initially decommitted and when he initially committed to Oregon. Nothing has changed in terms of Durham's and Moore's tightness, so I'm not sure why we'd expect that factor to change things at this stage in the game. If anything, it's probably *less* of a factor now than it was because they're further removed from the point in time at which they saw each other every day and probably communicate less now than they did before.

Moore ship sailed long ago.

And like Datbayoubengal said, we have more (not Moore lol) speed than maybe ever in the history of LSU football
