26 I think. Arman Jovic says he has a year left due to military service or whatever. Similar to how Zipper got all those years of eligibility as a 23 year old.
Here's Arman's youtube channel btw. He just uploaded a career highlights vid of Madar and recently posted one of Niang:

New international name has hit the radar. Yam Madar, Israeli point guard. Drafted 47th by the Celtics in 2020.
Was told about a guy drafted by the Celtics a few weeks ago but could never figure out who, guess I didn't look far back enough.

Is Montero in play? His highlight reel is ridiculous. Quick PG.

The thought is if we land Madar it likely means we couldn't get Montero.
He's not Montero but Madar looks pretty damn good.

The offer is there for him but seems like he doesn’t really wanna come play in college.
I asked Arman if Madara was a move that meant Montero wasn’t biting and he said:

Most likely yeah. Like I said before Jean's at his peak in the EL, was all first team there, he could legit play in the NBA if he wanted too, more pride than $. Madar is what he is, might as well cash in big while he can

He’s pretty solid!
Like his defense from what I saw. Would he or Ugo start at PG?

Ugo would start at the point and be the primary ball handler more than likely. would play off ball with the ability to initiate offense. Madar would be a great addition.

Wadley just finished a visit to Oklahoma, and they feel pretty good about things. Also, Akai Fleming just committed to Cinncy with the thinking they took him b/c they didn't feel good about Wadley.

Yep was about to say, didn’t visit here and we were late.

It’s hard to gauge, with the market being what it is. Not many of his caliber were left, but Divine Ugochukwu got $2 million from LSU thought that was interesting.

Is straight up paying more than OU a possibility?
Posted on 5/7/26 at 9:45 pm to MetryMojo
Pretty sure Costanza is the ‘26 HS guy we’re on if we take one
Posted on 5/8/26 at 3:22 am to MetryMojo
With Wade outright saying not going to pay 8-9 guys. He is a high schooler that probably isn’t ready to play right away big minutes for an NCAA tourney hopeful team. In the era of the portal, spend money on him or overpay and he leaves without much contribution I don’t see it. But hey maybe he commits.
I thought this down below was pretty crazy if there is any merit to it. But Mark Pope HC at Kentucky flew all the way to Tel Aviv to visit and pitch Santos. Their reporting is, Santos thought Pope was weird and UK thought they were in a good spot and had apparently put a lot of eggs in the Santos basket.
Mark Pope allegedly called weird by Santos
