My sense is that schools and agents are holding things closer to the vest this go round vs. past portal cycles. Wade has been working around the clock, but there isn't much out there on who he is contacting. The list is much longer than what has been shared publicly.

Not when the player pool is finite.
You have to lead with guys that are not out of place on the court in SEC games. I’m not a Miller guy but at least you have film vs the competition he will play against. There is absolutely more there for him to tap into, but he has a long way to go. His eval is easier vs other guys coming from smaller programs.
Fill out a core then you can gamble on a few guys. It’s way too competitive to just say “recruit and evaluate” better

Either Wade suddenly forgot everything he’s demonstrated competence this past decade all of a sudden, or for some reason, no one is leaking anything. It’s probably the latter. He’s probably revolutionalizing the meta recruiting game that will be gold standard for everyone down the road.
