No the national media hasn’t quite figured out that when you voluntarily dismiss claims, you no longer have the protection of court orders in that case. That is why Dent has been playing and Clark has not.

After how many hours should I go see a doctor? After all this news, it ain’t going down.

Part of believes if Kansas hadn't picked up Trey Kaufman-Renn who was drafted this past summer, we'd still be in limbo.

Do we know how many years Niang and Dessert were cleared for?
I know that the assumption is that these guys are 1 year "free agents". But it would be interesting to see if the NCAA gave them more than 1 year.

I thought Clark was in the Kentucky case though that is now at an injunction?

Also, dents case did get their injuntion just now, ncaa will appeal.
This puts both Dent & Clark's temporary eligibility on the clock. Hopefully, lawyers can do their thing and delay the appeal process as long as possible.

You are correct, but Rothestein and others keep referring to him as being in the California case, which is not correct.

Ok cool just making sure I was correct. So we just waiting on Levy now.
Going to be a fun season

I'm a not a big basketball guy. How good will this team be if they stay healthy?

This is a Top 20 as long as Dent and Clark are eligible. Remove them, and things get sketchy. People should be stoked!

On paper the floor is making the tournament and at that point if things come together anything can happen.

Will Wade and co. found out that Dessert was cleared during practice today and it was fun to watch. Practice stopped while everyone was high-fiving and hugging him. The coaches were doing the same with each other. Everyone was pumped up.
Clark, Dessert, and Niang looked great on court. Niang showed spurts of doing things that most can't do -- just an uncanny agility around the basket to work shots around defenders. Ditto with some passes to Dessert.
Dessert also has good agility for a big man. I really don't have anything negative to say about him. He had some solid stops on defense, but I didn't get to see much offense from him. It seemed like the defense just double-teamed and hacked him a lot, so I couldn't get a feel for him. You can tell he's a solid pick-up who will definitely elevate the team.
I was less impressed with Levy who just looks a little awkward, if not uncoordinated. He's supposed to be able to hit the three pointers, but my wife was asking me why "that big guy" kept shooting threes when he couldn't make them. Maybe he was just having a bad day.
I got to talk to Bashir for a bit. Nice young man who appeared happy to be here. He said he's here for 2 years. Hopefully he can keep hitting the threes.
Looking forward to this year.

Well that gets me excited. Please post more

This is the answer I was hoping for.

I don’t expect a ton scoring out of Levy. But the fact that you have 3, 7 footers that can rotate is awesome. Even if Levy plays 5-8 minutes and just uses his fouls.

Like I said all along, the internationals were going to be eligible. Santos was only one never cleared. This is going to be a very good team. And only two guys even had to use the court system! Not getting Luis stings a little as I think football killed any chance of that.

I would definitely feel more confident if Dent or Clark's injunction was attached to a current Duke or Kansas player.!

We're gonna be a lot more than relevant with Wade here for the next decade plus.
