Open your eyes, I guess you think you got me. You think you’re clever, but your eyes are not open. I still believe what I said. There is no contradiction. I know CMM wasn’t working to get more NIL, but if he had gotten more talent, he would’ve won. Regardless of rankings, it is obvious his teams were less talented. I didn’t think we would get funding to cover the firing and pay for a roster. However, I have also said that I was on board with Wade since he has gotten huge funding. I’m not a fan of the approach he has taken to use that money. I’m not blind to the obvious problems. I want the team to succeed. I don’t care who the coach is.

There is literally no reason to believe this is a true statement. He could not even win 25% of the conference games he coached and is the worst coach in the history of lsu basketball.

Honestly not much any more since players get paid even to make unofficial visits.
In the past it basically meant the school could foot the entire bill of the visit for travel/lodging/food etc for an "official" visit vs. an "unofficial visit" you could not pay for anything for the recruit. Keep in mind this wasnt direct payments to them, just effectively footing their travel costs/taking care of them while they were there.
Nowadays if you want a 5-star to make a visit it can be "unofficial" and just hand them $10k to make the visit.

You know what I do when I see something uninteresting or unappealing posted? I just move on to something I find interesting. And I get it, this is not the place for arguing, I said it in one of my first posts asking the Wade haters to please not do that here but that doesn’t matter, nobody ever bothered to check any context. Too lazy

Thats easy to do when you have a few random idiotic post but when you get 20 domb arse post to one post with good info its unavoidable. Especially if you're coming for MBB recruiting info. We only have one (sometimes 2 ) thread.

But you have to use your head at least a little. Outside of the people hoping for failure I've had zero inflammatory convos with anyone which you cannot say about those posters who fight with everyone. And again when we tried to ignore the main guy, he filled up like 2 pages with super long rants cursing and attacking everyone. When anyone mentions anything involving the last tenure he goes into psychotic fits. You’re just barking up the wrong poster but I hear you and you’re right it doesn’t belong here. Some of us are just hoop heads and love talking LSU basketball even if it’s a fight and this is where it’s being talked about right now. I apologize for that.
