I agree, very lengthy and skilled lefty that shoots it well especially off PNR , really good attacking the rim and also can help some on the glass. Gotta throw the sink at him.

Covid year doesnt count and he was in JUCO in '22-'23 which apparently also doesnt count now

2020-2021 = didnt count
2021-2022 = FR Yr
2022-2023 = JUCO yr, doesnt count
2023-2024 = SO Yr

Yeah, I would throw the remaining money at him if we had a chance. He would complete the team in so many ways. A legit 3 point shooting small forward.

Am I crazy or didn’t he visit LSU in high school?!?

Also I feel like Illinois has more players coming and going from the portal than any other major program in the country

I believe he was in the portal last year and I believe LsU was making a push to sign him. I don't remember if we recruited him out of high school

Removed a few contacts:

- Never really any real interest in Pettway. Just a super early contact

- CJ Luster kind of the same. Committed to UNCW

-Zachary Davis is trending toward Memphis

- Not sure where Chandler Jackson ends up but really no intention of setting up a visit

Trust me, you and I agree on the "direction" this program is heading, and what our marathon running AD should have NOT DONE with Wade, but I'm just trying to be optimistic here.
