AT uga would Maason play NT or DE? That might play into his decision making process. Can't believe he would want to play NT as opposed to DT.

DE. You put him at nosetackle your either an embicile or your d-line is so utterly stacked thats the only place he can get reps.

What posters in this thread are not considering is CEO’s ability to find the champion influencer for each recruit. It may be a mom, a grandmother, a GF, etc... He will find that person and recruit them as well because he knows these kids often end up following that champions wishes.

Smith is staying home. I don’t feel as confident in Foreman coming. Heard he was stand offish at times. Could be he was just trying to take things in

Man hope you are right about Foreman.

So,when smith says that that will 100% be playing together, what do you say?
He just said this the other day again

Im still in the boat we land both Foreman and Smith. I'm also in the boat that they will go to the same school. I've felt this before Foreman committed to Clemson(that did change my stance for a minute) and I really haven't seen anything to change my mind. Recruit speak to team fansites don't do it for me. I've got certain guys I trust and many of them feel it's been back and forth due to Foreman but that the ball is still in LSUs court in not so many words. Honestly most of that comes from most not believing we will lose Smith. It's gonna be interesting.

Then that would mean korey foreman is coming to lsu because i really do think they will play together

Some of you are the most , chicken little fans, in the country. Smith will be a Tiger, foreman is 50/50. You do understand that writers from other universities only write quotes that are pro whatever team they cover. I can guarantee that Smith had many pro LSU quotes in that interview that were conveniently left off. Some of us don’t deserve what Coach O and staff have and will do for LSU. Geez some are so sheepish it’s embarrassing. End Rant

Finally someone said it. It's a Georgia writer that wrote an article that paints Georgia in a positive light with some 5 star recruits. It happens literally every year, for every major program.
The only non-biased, big takeaways from that article are that:
1. Maason is still 100% sure him and Korey Foreman will commit to the same school.
2. They've got it narrowed down to three schools at this point.
3. Maason prefers to play the 3-tech(DT), as opposed to the 5-tech(SDE, which is where he would line up at Georgia).
If anything, this makes me feel more confident about landing Foreman, not less confident about landing Maason.
Don't forget we already have two good Cali friends of Korey's on the team in Elias Ricks and Raesjon(well basically for Raesjon). Maason is close friends with Jacquelin Roy.
We aren't losing Maason to UGA and if Maason is on board, I'm confident we will land Foreman as well.

It's almost as if they're in the business of getting clicks and making money. Weird.

The dude signed a 2 year contract so he probably coaches 2 more years and retires. These kids want to go to the league so when a defensive line coach walks in with 2 national Championship rings and a Super Bowl ring and 20 years of NFL coaching, you at least have their attention. Not to mention you can drop names like Brockers, Aaron Donald, Cam Jordan, etc.

How quickly y’all forget the recruiting saga of K’lavon Chaisson who was basically committed to UT before O worked his closing magic. Best in college football. And really, Smith would be a fool not to come here at this stage. This is not 1990’s Curley Hallman LSU football. We just came off a National Championship and the most recent games vs UGA were train wrecks for them.

If there is anyone I trust regarding La and Ca prospects attending SEC schools, it’s a Michigan St insider.
