I would put Foreman's chances of landing at LSU better than 50%, particularly if he and Smith are really a package deal. Short of O being fired or something drastic happening, Smith is going to be at LSU. UGA guys feel the same way about Smith. I hope official visits happen because O is going to drag his nuts over Kirby recruiting these two.

Package deals never end up working out

I won't say "never", but for sure they usually don't. They can say it all day, but at the end the wants/needs of each individual will win out. Foreman has a HBCU on his final list, I'm positive Smith won't join him if he goes there LOL so each one will make his own decision. I think O will lock Maason down, and Foreman is icing on the cake if he comes too. I'm not really that concerned at this point.

LSU couldn’t have a better ambassador than Ricks’ mother imo. She is ALL about LSU and the coaching staff. She even works in realty in the BR area now, so she can hook the Foreman family up with a new house if they want to move with him to BR.

I agree Foreman is probably better than 50/50 to end up at LSU.

After listening to Greg Biggens on a Podcast, I'd have to say 50/50 is more than fair. He explained that if he had to put another CB in now, LSU would get the same confidence level as he gave Georgia. Reason being, both Korey and his dad had equally great things to say of their visit to LSU. He went on to say that his recruiting trust level is higher with O due to his connections in California and his track record of putting D Lineman into the NFL. Note of interest: He says he thinks this would be O's 1st 5 star D Lineman recruited from OOS is he pulls it off while at LSU. As I said before, let O do his job and we will see how this thing pans out...

Agree. Last package deal I can recall really working out was Teddy Bridgewater and Eli Rogers to Louisville. We could have had them but Les wasn't interested in Rogers...

this guy said that Korey's dad was very high on the visit, met with the Ricks family and he thinks LSU is top two with Georgia and at this point its a tossup

Can't really see anything in the articles for/against us in regards to Smith, but I don't like that he is not committing, only signing on 12/16. If you were going to Georgia, this is the way of least state resistance, ala Sopsher. Hope I'm wrong.
