Meatball experience hurt him in recruiting though
Aranda scheme hurt as well since it didn't feature the DT's
They need to make a Kevin Faulk type hire for the dline
Maybe Bennie Logan becomes that guy and you can find an off field role/analyst for Bill Johnson at some point

Bill Johnson is a solid coach but I just worry about him recruiting

No reason to freak out yet. If you have followed recruiting long enough you will know that whatever is said today will change by next week. We have a long way to go before papers are signed and faxed in.

LSU just signed one of the best Dline classes in the country a year ago...Has one of the better Dline classes this year and looks to have a chance at signing one of the best dline classes in school history next class but we are talking about recruiting ability lol...can’t make this stuff up

This right here. If anything, Id say foreman ends up at Georgia and that makes pulling Maason a bit tougher and, based off of that article, it seems like Maason would go to Georgia if he had to pick today.

In a head to head recruiting battle of an elite defensive linemen from the bayou, there's not a soul on this earth that's better than O. Hopefully, Georgia faceplants again because Kirby's message has to be stale.

I would ask GA, How many first round draft pics they have had since Kirby got there and how many DL first rounders. Ed O is the postion coach, has put players in the pros by coaching them up. Ed O coached D Line in the NFL and knows what it takes. I could not say that for GA. They were stacked in 2018 and 2019 and we beat the living crap out of them.
