Hey Tigerbait357, I’ve only watched a few full game highlights of Chavez, thought she got out played in one of them. Is she really that good?..like Juju good?

To be honest it makes sense. If LSU lands Zakiyah & Divine those are two ELITE scorers. Divine can be ball dominant at times. She's not a point but she's very crafty with the ball. Zakiyah would most likely be a 3 in college with her frame & she can score at all 3 levels. Chavez as great as she is...she's extremely ball dominant. She shoots it a ton. I just don't see how those 3 would mix well together. I mean what if Flaujae comes back for her senior year! Mjracle Sheppard has 3 years left and she's no slouch. Add in Hines & it just makes for a congested backcourt. I think they'd be better served to get an experienced PG in the portal. But If she wants in you take her and figure the rest out lol

I strongly believe she will Declare. I'm not sure if she's on track to graduate in 3. But if she has the year I think she will she's a Top 10 pick for sure.

I believe there is a age limit you have to meet before potentially leaving early but Flaujae gonna be here for all four years

Flau'jae Johnson went out of her way to say she wants to stay in college as long as they would have her. She even said if she could take extra years she would. However, she didn't sound as firm on that in a more recent interview I saw. So I don't know what to think. I lean she probably would leave now.

you have to be 22 years old to declare for the draft. she would only be 21 in spring of 2025.

No, she can't declare for Wnba next spring since she is 21 yo next spring. She has to be minimum 22 yo to declare and graduated with 4-year degree. She will not leave LSU, she loves LSU and Kim. They have close bond. Her Mom also loves Kim.

Based on that video of Chavez, she's a s&*t talker, and we know how uncomfortable some LSU fans are about those kind of players. All we have to do is look at Angel Reese and how her own fans bashed her.................

Will take Chavez all day long and a hundred Sundays (new saying by our niece and nephew). She is a superstar, elite player that could help us win the NC. Don't care if she is uber confident and talks a lot, as long as she can back up her talk on the court and doesn't embarrass Kim or LSU.

It remains to be seen if LSU actually pushes for her. She tore her ACL recently so we dont know quite yet how they will approach this

2010--who said Angel is annoying and not loved by LSU fans? I certainly never said it. Since Angel has played at LSU, she always played with heart and toughness. Our family loves her and big fans, including watching her in the Wnba. Angel's leadership helped LSU win the NC.
I was speaking about Chavez, that she can have big ego and talk a lot, it doesn't really matter if she can back it up on the court and help us get to a NC. I think majority of LSU fans support Angel.

Rori Harmon (star Texas PG) was granted an extra year for her injury last year. Will be highly interesting to see how this affects Chavez recruitment who has been on record saying she doesn't want to go somewhere and sit on the bench early on in her career.
