definitely nothing like Nabers. He looks more like a G5-brand Jarvis Landry to me.

He's a really good ball catcher, but for playing in the American, he is involved in a ton of contested ball situations when playing on the outside, so what does that translate too against SEC corners? The right QB can get him into his spots, but looks like a Potential slot guy or WR2-WR3. Kyren Lacy is better than this kid. That's not slight to him.

He started his career at Mizzou but never got on the field there.

This offer lends toward what we've talked about with the staff going after either Louisiana guys or guys they've already got a relationship through recruiting or otherwise.

This would be a Steeples prior relationship.

St. Louis kid, so I'm assuming there is a Steeples connection.

You kind of wonder why he didn't do much at a Missouri program that wasn't exactly churning out big time WRs when he was there, but I'll give the staff the benefit of the doubt on WRs. With the season Nabers and Thomas just had I suspect LSU will be a desirable spot for transfers to consider. So if the staff likes this kid enough to offer this early in the process (technically the portal isn't even open yet), they have to see something they really like.

Then we should probably stay away from this kid. He left Mizzou for a reason.

I thought BK talked that they wouldn’t offer a wideout unless it was someone elite in the portal - implying we have a lot of capable receivers. Idk maybe I’m overthinking. He seems solid but it’s a huge step up in competition

5 kickoff returns for 85 yards. Maybe he can return punts?

If lsu is looking for a wr then they need to go get Evan Stewart.

Stewart is probably looking for the highest bidder. A guy from North Texas doesn't have that kind of leverage.

I dont. He was there for the covid season and his redshirt freshman season. Some guys just need to reset/develop somewhere else.

Theres a ton of guys that have been on LSU's roster for 2-3 seasons and haven't played a meaningful offensive/Defensive series of football...but some fans are still yelling "they need time to develop"
