LSU Basketball - Are they done after Alstork?

Will they add anyone else if they land him in the next few days? If so, who else is out there that they are looking at? I'm really excited to see what Wade does with this new team. I chaulked it up to a rebuilding year when he was first hired. Now i think we can make some noise and be competitive.

I feel like that will likely be it. Obviously depends on who's available but at this point I can't imagine much else changing. Wade said he wanted the roster complete by the time summer practices started so this should be it.

^ This. I was just excited for him to change the culture and start building his foundation. What he's been able to do in such a short amount of time is insane. I'm not saying we're going to compete for the SEC in the first year, but we're damn sure going to give some teams fits.

Wade said they wanted to add 1 if not 2 more guys. My guess is he wants Alstork right now and someone else only if we lose another player. Not sure who he would even get beyond Alstork at this point though. The pickings are EXTREMELY slim, especially for a big if he happens to go after one.

Elbert pain train is coming. Everyone hop aboard.

The fact that Elbert is still on the team means that Wade might think that he can make a player out of him. I'm very interested to see if he can transform Elbert into someone that can provide a few decent minutes off the bench.
Rest of the team looks like they'll have some real good talent for next season. I hope they can all learn quick and play well together. So nice to feel good about LSU's basketball coach again.

Alstork would take the last available scholarship, so there would have to be more attrition if LSU were to add anyone else for next season.
Right now (without Alstork), LSU would have 6 available scholarships for next year's recruiting class. That's a huge roster turnover. I wonder if LSU strikes out on Alstork if they don't just save the scholarship and try to bring in a non-graduate transfer to sit out next season? That would at least give you some experience for 18-19 to go along with would could be a really young roster.

And I'm damn pumped that Will Wade is the one filling those spots.

Give him coach of the year if that shite happens, because I just don't see it with Robinson.

If Johnny couldnt do it, nobody can.
Eta: My bad, thought this was the rant.

To be fair, there is a long list of things he couldn't do.

I believe if coach wade can get ER3 conditioning up to par, he can be usefull in this team. He just have to be determined.

There's another kid. See my other thread.

What about Brandon Alston, 6-5 wing from Lehigh? He is a grad transfer with two years left. Wade offered him.

Robinson is what 7'1" ?? and needs to be playing around 260 or 265 at most. The kid can move from watching his HS highlights and watching him while he has been at LSU for someone that size, but can be much better and I hope Wade can bring it out. You are right he has to be in better shape conditioning wise, but he has the size and strength to play in the NBA. He has to show that he wants to develop into a dominant low post player.

Alstork went to Illinois so he won't be coming or on the team next year.
