Just scrolling Watters’ twitter and not only does he have the stud younger brother other’s have mentioned (Flip Watters) he’s also got another younger brother (Rino Watters) who’s an incoming freshman QB at Central Michigan.
What a family.
What a family.

The MLB Draft League has trackman in all their stadiums apparently. It means that there are Baseball Savant box scores for all of Parker Loew's games this summer. It will take a little work for me to manually pull stuff, but there is a ton of info that will be available on him.
At Bat Profile
The link is for his hit against Trenton Lape. An 86 MPH slider hit 98 MPH (wooden bat) for a ground ball single.

I’m still thinking Jay lands about another 4-5 more transfer portal players. But got to think majority of that number will be pitchers. Really good start to the portal for Jay and the Tigers.

Bino, Rino and Flip. That’s a trio right there.

It's so hard to know how many more we'll grab in the portal without having a great idea of how many of this massive freshman class makes it to campus as well as a handful of more decisions from current players on the team
I'm sure Jay obviously has a pretty good idea on most but surely there's a few up in the air even for him

So happy to get Watters! This is the offensive transfer we didn't get last year that Ace Reese would have been that Jacob Berry and Tommy White were. I think we got the pitching and the overall depth even last year but gotta get that 1 can't miss hitter that's already P4 proven every year I feel like.

With Bino, Hood, and Park on board, I feel like we are really just gaining momentum. Other good players will want to be a part of it, even if it means not quite the pay day that they're looking for.
On top of Bino, Hood, and Park, available portal guys will also see the returnees like Schmidt, Evans, Moore, Bide, Serna, Braun. "I'm the missing piece" mentality starts to set in for both portal guys and recruits weighing the draft.
I don't think the fireworks are anywhere close to finished.

I'd like to agree with you but easy path to playing time and money also resonate just as strong with these transfers. Not all are in it to win it

What if you could get playing time and money, and win? I didn't say they would disregard certain things altogether. Athletes and coaches, especially fierce competitors, have an innate yearning to win at almost all costs.

Just to put numbers out there, right now the roster is at 53/34.

Any news/smoke on Nate Savoie? Has he been taking visits?
Posted on 6/10/26 at 12:51 pm to DRock88
Nothing that I've seen. But if he visited us, it's hard to know. They're more buttoned down on everything this year.

I have 52, and you're normally my data validation.
Are you listing Marshall Louque right now?
Posted on 6/10/26 at 1:03 pm to ProjectP2294
I thought I read somewhere on here louque will be on the roster next season
Posted on 6/10/26 at 1:11 pm to ProjectP2294
No Marshall Louque.
I have 12 returnee/transfer position players, 14 returnee/transfer pitchers, 12 HS recruit position players, and 15 HS/JUCO recruit pitchers.
