Should have another surge in portal entries after this weekends games are over, right? Maybe some unexpected names

Probably some. I like a few guys on the USC roster if they're looking for a change.

Who are the highest rated HS kids in '26 class that are most likely to make it to campus and possibly contribute right away?

Project would be better suited to answering that question.

I know that last play didn’t look great for him, but I’ve been a fan of Takeuchi for a couple years.

Looked like he pulled up a little because he didn’t know how much room he had left before wall. I’d take him as a starting player next year without question.

Looked like he was scared of the wall. You have to put your body on the line and dive for that, not pull up and slide. He would have been fine if he dove anyway. Can't imagine what the rant would be saying if that was LSU

Also, he needs to yell at his 3rd basemen. Should've gotten out of it a pitch before that.

If I'm not mistaken, they were playing OF depth where he isn't used to so it's understandable that he didn't know where he was. I think he gave his best effort, but misjudged where he was at.

Bino officially had his Texas visit today, dropped off at the airport a few hours ago... seemingly uncomitted. Pair that with his recent following of Josh Jordan, hopefully his next stop is Baton Rouge. Any plane trackers in here?

Good player, but man, your teams season on the line and you get timid going toward the wall, not a great moment.

They were shaded in due to the runner on second. Understandable he was a little lost, but gotta be better in that moment. Obviously easier said than done. He also took a horrible route and slowed down much sooner than he should have. It was odd. That's gotta be a head down sprint to the spot type of play.

Yeah, I can't imagine Curiel not going head first into the wall there to make the play. He hadn't even reached the warning track yet.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but i was perusing Josh Jordan's instagram and he's followed by (and follows) Maryland B1G all freshman INF Ty Kaunas.

Kaunas Baseball Reference. More of a WJP type update.

Jordan is clearly giving visitors a tour tonight though, based on his story.

He's also followed (and follows) by:

Bino Waters
Nieswonger
Brody Trosclair
Sean Yamaguchi

Those are the few that are visible.

I have a hunch that Watters may be visiting right now. Just makes sense with the slew of Jordan's following and going from A&M to Texas, BR makes a lot of sense as a next stop and actually puts us in a great spot as his last(?) visit.

I hope the Lodise commitment means Tech can't compete here anymore. Money priority wise.
