LSUE moving to D1 JUCO will help with the schedule some and pull more out of state talent. They pulled two transfers from Tennessee that red shirted there this year. The DFW D1 schools (Weatherford , Grayson), McLennan and Blinn region is very strong and are filtering through top talent. McLennan head coach left to became DBU recruiting coordinator and the recruiting coordinator went to Weatherford. But, McLennan sent 16 players to D1 and 9 to power 4 teams on their 2025 team. LSUE has a ways to go to be at that level. Seems like San Jac has been down lately. Definitely a traditional powerhouse though.

yea it will help a lot. and I think they are starting to get a lot more guys there but from talking to some lower d1 coaches, in the past LSU-E hasnt really done a good job of actually developing kids. Sure lots of reps and they win games but actual development as in changes in size, strength, exit velo, speed, throwing velo....yea they havent done that so there has been a little hesitancy for the schools from South LA to encourage their prospects they want to go there...at least in the past. That hesitancy seems to be changing.

Which of these three are getting to campus and will they be changing their name to have DC as their initials?

What’s your take on B. Montgomery, from Walker?

None of them if mlb throws $ around like they did this past draft

I would say Nathaniel Davis might make it out of the three

Malachi is gone
Murphy - corona had multiple players sign pro contracts and will have a few more in 26

Haven’t had a chance to watch Jay’s full presser. Anything noteworthy other than Koki asking stupid questions?

have not seen him play, but he has elite tools and just made a jump to the top of the rankings for the state.

updated PG 2027 top 50. Jordin Griffin drops 1 spot to #6

shocking Lawton Littleton wasnt in top 50. I know he hasnt done an overwhelming number of PG events, maybe that is why.

Not a whole lot. Ran down the fall schedule and touched briefly on most of the players.

You can tell for a while that Jay gave Koki a little leeway because he was young and starting out, but he's starting to test his patience now.

Drake Hawpe and JJ Utash are on my wishlist.

Although I think Utash will have a Jaden Fauske type rise up the rankings. He looks like a pro right now.

Hes not making it to campus for OU. His frame, speed, and bat speed are going to get him drafted pretty early. He shot up a lot of rankings pretty quickly.

if he is drafted early it will simply be off projection and potential. He has elite speed with the 6.35 in the 60 and but its his top end that gets him there because he only runs a 1.55 10 yard dash. Which means he lacks the ability to put force in the ground so it tells me he has a long ways to go in the strength/power department which makes sense based off his exit velo too.

but man at 6'5 and only 202....he has a shite ton of potential if he will get married to the weight room. Right now his exit/throwing velo and some of his mechanics(mainly direction) dont match his potential based off all the data.

But projetability wise.....hard hard to bet against him and that combo of hieght and speed.

JD alexander is similar, A&M is taking him simply off potential because of the height, length and bat speed.

100%, hes got a 6'5 frame that can easily put on muscle, has quick bat speed, and plus speed. I actually think he would sit on the bench for a few years in college developing before he would see the field but if he did develop could be a dominant player. Hes not Ethan Frey but he isn't a bad example to look at.

I just don't see him making it to campus with how much hes shooting up boards so quickly.

Yea I saw that as well. Top 50 in the country… wondering if he will be in play for the MLB draft.
