Do y’all know what is going on at the box today? The parking lots are packed and a South Korean flag flying in center.

27, 28, 29, and 30 invites scattered around the area. The 27 class may get some pool games at The Box but I believe the rest will pool in the area but can win to get to The Box.

Have they finally started paying baseball players?

Not if they’re settling for Larson

It's so funny. 2 years ago this time yall were all talking about how great Ashton Larson was going to be while I was saying he was just okay and Jake Brown was much better and yall were down voting me like usual. One of several takes yall aced like was ridiculous that came true over the years.

Shocking that people had faith in the 6'2 220 lb LHH who was freshman all SEC, hit 300 in the conference, and then hit .316 in the cape and was an all star.

In the summer of 2024, Jake Brown was not "much better" than Ashton Larson. Larson had produced and Brown was all potential who couldn't hit LHP. I mean, even in the '25 season, Brown wasn't even an every day starter.

In 2024, Ashton Larson hit .337 in conference play (led the team) with a near 1.000 OPS. Jake Brown hit .143 with a .393 OPS.

Larson got injured and hit a physical wall. It happens. Acting like it was crazy to say Larson was going to be a great player is just stupid.

Nah. It was easy to see their freshmen seasons. But go ahead, die on that hill.

And still using stats from a tiny little sample size. It's like yall don't realize the entire college baseball season is tiny. Much less conference only. Much less not even playing every game. Use your eyes...

He has since deleted it, but I saw a comment on twitter from Jake Brown's dad that Ethan Plog isn't on the roster anymore.

I’d be surprised that Jay wouldn’t want him back. He’s a lefty that can throw up to 96.

ive heard Jay mention him a lot this offseason. They do not have a ton of lefties so it would be a surprise for sure.

I didn’t want to ask elsewhere because too often players get bashed, but LSU put out a graphic with all their draftees minus Grant Fontenot. On another board someone said not recognizing Fontenot was intentional because there had been a falling out. Sheesh, even Justin Loer got a curt courtesy congratulations, and nothing good was ever said about him. Strange to make Fontenot persona no grata, he was a top 300 draft pick after all. No tip of the cap. No nothing. Crickets
