I think people are looking way too much into the exclamation point 
He had 2 commitments 5 hours apart. I think that probably played into him adding punctuation.

So far Jay’s only follow on Twitter from the portal had been Zach Root from ECU…until now.

Brandon Little is the one that shut us down in game 1. In the next game against them, we got 7 hits and 3 earned runs in 4 innings against Wicker. He did get 6 Ks though. I wouldn't say he gave us fits.

They were winning 6-3 when he left the game. He gave up a few ground balls through the infield. He had lsu pitched pretty well, objectively.

Jay didn't even talk about all the JUCO transfers yesterday because he specifically mentioned he didn't think he could talk about one, which means the paperwork may not all be in order yet.
He's not going to risk a tampering charge for an injured guy that walks more than a batter an inning when healthy.

During the game Wicker started I remember thinking, "I'm sure glad they pulled that kid." And I wondered why they pulled him as early as they did. He definitely pitched well.

Last year I would not have agreed with this, but after 2 seasons working with Silva and he still has these issues is very concerning. Silva is highly regarded when working with pitchers. Seems like if he didn't figure out to fix it then it may be a permanent problem.

He also pitched in 3 games in 9 days prior to pitching against LSU. They could have seen some fatigue with him and pulled him.
