Unless there are some word games being played with "not on the roster", Tripp Haddad is the only guy that fits.
Beyond that, Lape, Thompson, and Cooley technically weren't on the roster and aren't in the portal. But there would be no reason to clarify that they'll be back because no one has said they're gone.

Simon is retired.
Tripp Haddad had a decent season as a part time player at Delgado.
He must know someone if so, they don’t need more OF

Given the somewhat constant roster crunch, I really can't see it being Haddad.
We don't really have space for a guy who had a decent year as a part time player at an okay JUCO in his 3rd year in college.

That would make zero sense roster wise. Not sure who the guy is talking about but nobody really comes to mind that can help this team.

Liberty hired VCUs coach, so the carousel keeps spinning and the portal stays open a bit longer.

Jay has recently followed Corey Cousin which is interesting given he’s a 2024 and signed with OU. I wonder if he may be getting released and joining the class.
He’s an OF/P/3B (according to PG) from Slidell.
I know that may not fall into the “fallback plan” category but timing is interesting nonetheless.

He's a really good player

Ya Cousin is someone they should have pursued harder. Good catch C2

Matt Gaudet has been secretly redshirting off the roster since 2011 like he did in 2009. He's the guy and he'll be our cornerstone power bat in the lineup. Will require a designated runner every time one of his plate appearances results in anything other than a home run or strike out.

Prager taken by Angels and Neely taken by Red Sox, know A&M and Florida fans were hoping they’d get those guys back
