Just having a chance to look into this more

Brandon Arvidson would fit the bill as the potential LHP on campus.

He was with A&M as a freshman and didn't play. Went to San Jac last year and then committed to Texas for 24. He recently reopened his recruitment.

3.84 ERA, 61 IP, 108K, 1.43 WHIP

ETA he is the #3 ranked JUCO player in front of Reaves and Ware

Arvidson is likely taking Tennessees last spot. It was down to him and fisher.

I was also told that they feel pretty good about the chances to get both Bear and Herring back.

Was with some movers and shakers tonite. Bear Jones is trending very hard to stay. Announcement next week.

He’s all Tenner. They have been expecting him for a while. Would be awesome to land him but I doubt it

Well I'm stumped. I should have asked for a name. Figured it would be pretty easy to put together the pieces.

But hey, at least they feel good about Bear and Herring. Fingers crossed.

I think you’re right. I think it’s him, but I don’t think he ends up here

Bear coming back would be insane.

1B Jones
2B Milam
SS Braswell
3b Dickinson would be awesome.

I feel like we haven’t talked about it but Dickinson swiped 32 bases and only got caught 5 times. We should stick him lead off and put some pressure on teams.

Larson was 4 for 5 with 3 RBI

Some of that damage was against Primeaux who took the loss giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in 1.2 IP

Moffett meanwhile gave up 7 earned runs on 6 hits with 3 walks in 2 innings. Ooof

Stanfield was 3-3 with 2 runs and an rbi. He has his avg up to nearly .280 after a slow start.

I like your style.

So, if you had to take a wild guess, what kind of chance might LSU have to get a commitment from Avridson?

Even with Herring, and especially without him, I would love to see one more LHP that could contribute to the cause.

Another good outing for Landon Victorian in the Northwoods:

4 IP, 2H, 0R, 1BB, 3K.

Omaha if so.

Starting tandems
Herring/shores
Eyanson/sheerin
Anderson/cowan

Or if they need someone to be the dominant lefty from the pen, although id prefer him to be a starter, guess anderson could slide back there:

Herring/Sheerin
Shores/Anderson
Eyanson/Cowan

Herring/Shores meeting their potential would be a sharpied in W on Fridays. Think both will be a weekend starter though.

This team will be loaded if no es and herring come back. Question would be do we keep all the transfers we have gotten already. Unless someone who hasn’t played much catcher moves to catcher we are loaded at the 1b/dh/of spots. For 5 spots we would appear to have
Jones-if comes back
Stanfield- if not drafted high
Larson
Brown
Pearson
Curios
Beck
Yamin
Hernandez-if not drafted high

9 guys who probably all expect to play a good bit.
Plus other freshmen.
Then add possibility of braswell.
Fall scrimmages may be battles.

LF - Pearson/Curiel
CF - Stanfield
RF - brown
1b - Jones
2b - Milam
SS - Bras
3rd - Dickinson
C -?
DH - Frey/Larson/Yamin/Hernandez/Beck

If this turns out to be a real possibility then we are gonna be a bit crowded at DH and OF. It’s a good problem to have but will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I think you have to find a spot for Larson somehow for continuity purposes and idk how we find a way to get some freshmen PT.

Does anyone have solid info on whether he’ll be part of this class? I’ve heard different things from different people.

Yes he’s expected to be a part of the class and as elite as they come arm talent wise. I also expect MLB to throw something at him to see if he would take it.
