Would assume to lure him away it would take about a half mil or so.
Going back home is always a big draw for people. I'm not saying he would take a pay cut to do so, but getting the opportunity to become a head coach where you are from is always going to be enticing with a competitive salary.

Agreed. The back home factor adds value. Not to mention living in North Carolina vs Louisiana isn’t really much of a decision.
ETA this will get downvoted to oblivion by you die hard Louisiana baws and all I can say is, I respect your loyalty to that state. Yall are better than me.

Any idea if Herring is starting in the summer league or still coming out of the pen?
Posted on 6/21/24 at 11:06 am to FredbullTN
He started the one game, but I think he's at the combine now.

He made 1 start in the cape. He is at the combine now though and then I'm sure heading back to the cape when he leaves there.
He was working on a changeup in his cape start and said he felt good with where he was with developing that pitch.

That Marshall League page is terrible. Where are you pulling stats from MOT?

North Carolina is an amazing state

GameChanger
ETA: Looks like two of the HRs were to CF and he’s also seeing a little over 4 pitches per plate appearance.

Jordan could get a much better head coaching job then that if he bides his time

First time head coaches don’t usually get marquee programs.
Campbell’s no slouch.

So Dorsey, Sheerin, Stanfield, and Yamin are not draft eligible while Hernandez, Cowan, and Hayden are? Is that correct?

Stanfield is. He is the most likely transfer to get a big payday. Hayden probably the most likely to sign

well, he could transfer after next season, but yes, he's not draft-eligible until 2026.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around who we have that isn't draft eligible. It's basically no one huh?? Lol
Milam, Brown, Larson, Frey, Yamin, Kucherak, Paul, Cooley
Shores, Noot, Sheerin, Dorsey, Lape, Thompson
Anderson, Primeaux
Is that it? 8 hitters and 8 pitchers?
