Yep it slightly eclipses our from 2022 in terms of Top 100 overall talent using PG rankings.
We had 11 Top 100 overall players in our 2022 class and brought in 6 of them - of them were Top 33 overall players though.
They have 13 Top 100 overall players in their 2023 class. Will be interesting to see how many of those go to Arkansas - whats good for them is only 1 of them is ranked in Top 35. 12/13 players are ranked 36-100. So I bet there's a real high chance they bring in more than just 6 of them. However, they wont be bringing that top top talent like we had with only 1 of those guys being Top 35 (and that guy very likely to sign a pro deal being ranked #6 overall in PG rankings and in the 1st round of every mock I've seen).

Gonna be doing a lot of re-recruiting our own natty players I believe. Also some poster said Chatignier from Ole Miss is coming here to start at 2B. I’m guessing Jay is banking on getting his bat back up to where it was his Freshman year.

Not sure about this one. Would help for depth I guess but I don't like taking him to step on toes of some guys that may be coming in. He isn't good enough IMO. Already took Braswell as a guy that can play 2B/SS. You spoke of getting back to his freshman year, however that was a small sample size. I think the last 3 seasons is what you can expect from him.
I don't like the idea of taking him and Braswell both. Especially if the plan is for Guidry to move back to MIF in the summer and possibly next season with spot opportunities on the mound.

He’s from Cypress, TX, same HS as Austin Deculus. Not sure if his family has any Louisiana connections. I’d be happy with him on the roster as a utility IF/late-inning def replacement a la Nippolt. I know how much emphasis Jay puts on veteran sec players. Not sure if he’s the answer for everyday 2B.

I sound like his agent because I mention him a lot but I wish Montgomery would enter the portal. I realize he is playing now for team USA but I'd love to have this kid in P&G!

He can be every day at second if his bat comes around. He did start a lot of games at Ole Miss and played in the CWS. There is a lot of value there in lieu of getting a hot bat from a Juco or P5 D1 school.
