Yea it was tragic that they didn't go further in the LLWS last year. It was so shady how he got to go to all stars too...typical Lake Chuck shenanigans

Why he played in the league and realistically they werent going to beat that Lafayette team which was the apex majors team. Not with only Jordin and 3 other legit major kids. Jordin isn't a pitcher but was having too. Got to have 3 or more that can throw 68+ to normally win state. This year not withstanding.

As far as him playing, little league says don't have ti pkay year before in the league and only have to play a % of the games. Has to be verified with scorebooks. Was no shenanigans, little league is a primadonna org and is strict as hell.

I know I know. It's a loophole.

Unfortunately one that every team that wants to compete uses. Eastbank uses the hell out of it.

My guess for the 6:

Medshirt
Siravo
Coleman

Gone
Hellmers
Simon

Redshirt
Primeaux

Plus one of Edwards and Fontenot

Fontenot has had some sort of surgery as well. It's supposed to be a quicker recovery than TJ, but I think it's still a possibility he doesn't pitch next year.

yeah a poster on 247 who is close with the Simon family said he got a text today from his dad that Simon is done with baseball, the pain in his elbow won't go away and he tried to give it a shot in summer ball but it just wasn't happening. Another tough blow to the MIF and sucks for that kid, had some serious potential. Hate it for him.

I think this is very accurate except I think Simon should be in the medical group because he wouldnn't be in the 6 if he was healthy.

Poster on 247 said Simon is quitting baseball altogether and just focusing on academics. Doesnt sound like he's even trying to come back (at this point).

Definitely sucks for him and us. I was okay with three guys on our team that could play SS, I'm not warm and fuzzy about only having two.

I expect there will be some portal news soon.

I'm not sure Hellmers is interested in playing baseball anymore, either.

Siravo, Coleman, Hellmers, Simon are a quick 4 off the list. Not sure if Appleby is healthy either so that's 5. Then, Jay also said that he had spoken to some freshman about redshirting. That's really only probably Jones or Frey, 1-2 of the pitchers, Ruddell or Paul.

Those 4 freshmen and Primeaux were the ones I was thinking of. There is a chance none of them redshirt, we will see.

Some believe they'd leave before redshirting. I don't think so. Jay's spoken to them about it already. Jay has had some success with redshirting. You lose 3 starters minimum after this year.

I didn't really mean medical redshirt. More like medical retirement. "Gone" seems to insinuate something different. It doesn't matter anyway. It's just semantics.

I don't see Mic Paul or Jared Jones redshirting. I would say Primeaux and maybe Ruddell and/or Frey if necessary.

Like Jack Walker and Brody Drost?

Is this where we say don't draft Burrow because Jefferson and Jamarcus?

Ok, ProjectionP.

I spoke of a specific kid coming from a top-flight program in context of the program preparing him for the next level like few others do.

You pulled two random kids from the same program and shite on them.

Maybe you can use your internet skills to search through their roster and find more kids to shite on?

It seems like you can find 6 pretty easily without having to go the traditional redshirt route. That’s not to say that some won’t but I don’t think that’s a bridge they’ll have to cross just to get the numbers right before the season.

And I cited examples to the contrary.

They weren’t random and I didn’t shite on them. Saying they weren’t ready to compete immediately isn’t shitting on them. If you want to know what shitting on a kid looks like, go back to your posts about McManus.

Maybe you can go frick yourself.

Mic Paul is badass! I'd be surprised if he red-shirted.
