Looking at Crown’s visitor list for UF. It’s malpractice at this point.

Our last DL coach got ran by our incompetent defensive coordinator that will be run in the off-season
Our replacement defensive line coach almost died in August.

Your point is well taken, but we do have a ‘24 DL commit coming and some feel Breaux will grow into a DT.

Kelly’s roster management and rebuild has been less than ideal. Only thing worse is seeing people on here making excuses after excuse..
A Dline coach with health issues shouldn’t prevent you from going out and landing elite recruits. Doubt this shite would happen and UA or UGA

Players will spend more time with their position coach than any other person on the staff during their college careers, and it’s not close. That’s how college football works. If you can’t understand why not having an acting DL coach and the uncertainty of that situation on the heels of having 4 different ones over the course of 5 seasons, then you just don’t understand the relationships that are still a big part of recruiting.
It would be one thing if Lindsey had come into a stable situation and replaced someone who had been here a while. You could sell that overall stability and that the current situation is just a bump in the road that will be resolved. But we all know that isn’t close to reality here. We are still in the midst of a rebuild and that position has had constant turnover. Now we also know that it’s pretty obvious to recruits that there will be staff changes across the defense.
It has to get fixed, but it’s not going to be this cycle. Everyone needs to just accept that and see what happens from here.

No. We sometimes have four coaches within the same 5 mile radius recruiting different prospects based on position. It’s terribly inefficient.
I’m hoping Kelly figures that out soon.
I emailed him this morning to advise him that he should read this site because we have many good ideas that may help him achieve the level of success he aspires to achieve.

Elite recruits win championships and build a consistent championship program. Our defensive recruiting is really bad and will hurt us for years.
