Thats ok, many on here cant handle the truth!

Actually, if a recruit is not firm in his conviction to go to LSU then I am ok with him not coming. Would likely wind up being a problem or a transfer down the road.

Diggs and Rakim are great comps though. 1st round talents that were wasted in Maryland and go in the 5th

Sure glad Chase,Marshall, and Jefferson didn't ask your opinion about signing with LSU 2 and 3 years ago.

Like Terrence Toliver? It happens everywhere.

If Maryland is such a great place to play football, why didn’t Stefon advise his younger brother to go there instead of Alabama?

This is the dumbest take. Because he didn't play over Mac?

Kid was highly recruited. He can't help that the best rated QB in the History of Bama recruiting just signed on for 2020.

That's stupid. His brother deciding to go to Bama does not mean he didn't advise him to attend Maryland.

Stefon Diggs lost millions by going to Maryland. Not sure why he would recommend anyone else go there, other than selfishness.
Well...LSU didn't even offer him. So who's to blame?

Yet every Louisiana kid is supposed to go to LSU, especially when the program is down to help rebuild it and have state pride!

Not sure I follow your rationale. Every kid should go where they are the best fit for their future.

Even when LSU was down, their players were getting drafted high. Diggs is a perfect example of a 1st round type player whose talents were wasted, and it cost him several rounds in the draft. Money that it will be very difficult to recoup.

Because he’s small and slow and got by on his last name and a promised Alabama offer

Any other reasoning given besides Jarrett being tossed a bone by Under Armour is a lie. Locksley being shocked by the commitment is even more of a tell. If Locks and Rak were smart they would have just kept their mouth shut instead of drawing attention.

As much as I liked Toliver as an LSU fan, he wasn't a first round talent at wide receiver.

I just had a vision of some casual Maryland fan seeing “T. Tagovailoa” on the roster and getting super excited and then finding out its Taulia and not Tua

Nah, I'll bet he'll look like an All-American every day in practice going up against Maryland DB's. He'll be in for a rude awakening when he has to face Ohio State and NFL DB's.

Yeah because it would have been so hard to point at Odell, Jarvis, Randle, Sheppard, Gage and Chark.

Lol, fricking bandwagon fans

Toliver

I’m not sure LSU / LSU WR is a good comparison for this discussion.

LSU produced NFL draft WRs despite being mostly shite at passing offense; 2013 being the exception with Met, ODB and Jarvis.

Well to be fair they thought the same thing about Jacob Phillips right up until he flipped to the good guys.
