I remember Desmond Little from last year...he was supposed to be an athletic freak but really raw ...and needed to put on some weight...I wonder how he’s progressed

ILB: Baskerville
ILB: Devonta

I hope youre right. The ILB class for the draft is weak, especially with Moses coming back. May be tempting for Phillips. I do think Queen stays.

I’m most likely in the minority on this, but I think Webb develops in to a stand-up OLB.

Ojulari is Greenard from UF.

Webb. To me, he can do just about everything you'd want in a OLB. Rush the passer of course but also, set the edge, run sideline to sideline, cover, etc. Ojulari is not far off (it's 1A and 1B) but also isn't quite as long.

They both will be better after developing some more physically. Ojulari I think will be a nightmare by his second year.
As good as Georgia did recruiting, we hit their state pretty hard. We got those two guys, Arik Gilbert and Max Johnson.

What about Cherry? I thought Cherry would be in a Chaisson like role as an olb/stand-up defensive end. He would have to have put on a lot of weight to play one of the three down defensive linemen.

Y'all need to stop with this Queen and Phillips leaving bullshite.

They are "very good" college linebackers. They are not ready for the NFL.

CEH, he's ready for the NFL.

JJ2, he's ready for the NFL.

JP6 and PQ8, not ready.

At LSU, our players have historically had a culture of leaving too soon. See, e.g., Malachi Dupre, Tharold Simon, Ed Alexander, etc. At other established programs like Bama, for example, a guy like Alex Leatherwood, who is a bordeline first rounder, comes back.

Phillips and Queen would likely be drafted, 3-5 and 4-6 respectively. If they come back and show improvement, Phillips could be a first rounder and Queen a second day guy. This is literally worth millions of dollars on the first contract.

So stop with the bullshite that these guys are leaving. They are only leaving if they are shortsighted or they forget that there are probably 60 or so draft eligible interior LBs.

Clark and Baskerville are the probable starters next year, with Starks playing a good bit. After that it’s freshmen.

If we can keep Queen, Stevens, and Shelvin, we might be best defense in the SEC.

I think a lot of it depends on if we win Monday Night..a lot of guys are gonna enter the draft...they’ll feel like they’re going out on top ...if that makes sense

like that time I quit school after making an A on a test!

seriously, though, their draft stock will (should) be the determining factor
guys like queen and phillips will make a lot of money up front if they come back and improve their draft stock

I personally believe Brooks will be a stand out playmaker next season. I am definitely on board with you in being hyped to see him play.

Jerrell Cherry

He grew into more of a situational DE. I almost think he needs to lose some of that weight because BUCK appears to be the best spot for him. He and Fanua are kind of in the same boat.
