This wins ironic comment of the day, possibly YTD.

Back to OP, my two boys played HS football with Dylan before he went to IMG. His Dad spent two years on the sidelines telling me how much he loathed $aban and there was no way his son would play for him. So forgive me if I attach zero credibility to anything coming from anyone in that family.

It really seemed that he had observed the way that his brother navigated the process and was deliberately working to avoid those pitfalls. I don’t think people would be nearly as critical if it wasn’t for being so vocal about trying to build this class at LSU.

No one is mad because he is taking visits. They are mad because saying one thing and doing another is the literal opposite of integrity. When you say the things he said, you can't go and do the things he's doing without receiving justified criticism. Hope the young man learns a lesson.

He could have easily said "yes, I'm committed to lsu but I still have some visits I want to take, just to be 100% sure." No one would be even the slightest bit upset at that.

LSU has given you an opportunity to play football for LSU
He can go play wherever he wants if it's not LSU and he has that right as well
This!

I would only add I've become weary of this. I'd just as soon not see another post about him until he is or isn't signed.

THIS EXACTLY!. people confuse the issue. people arent upset he is visiting other schools its how he is doing it and how his family and him are handling it. IF he had been upfront and honest no one wouldve had a problem. These parents are to blame, they instill no integrity or character. All is fair if money is involved. Why not say "hey son, dont committ if you arent 100% sure this is where u want to go" Go take visits, Go enjoy the process and then couple weeks before signing, sit down, talk it out and make a decision you feel is best and then be a man and tell the coaches so they have time to make plans. Its pretty damn simple.

Dylan has been out of football for a few years and that Memphis Showboat money doesn't go too far these days. The Moses' need to get paid and someone out there will do it. Hell, LSU was likely doing it but they deemed it to not be enough I guess.

Whatevs, there is no point in getting worked up about recruits until signing day anyway.

I don’t follow well enough to know whether there is a third Moses brother after Keyland, but if this doesn’t go our way, I wouldn’t even bother with the family.

No hard feelings or anything, but if you can’t trust anything they say, you really shouldn’t put any weight to it or lavish them with gifts, publicity, etc.

Here’s a thought - don’t accept the job offer!

Were any of you REALLY convinced a Moses was coming?
After the commit, de commit, tuck tail and run to IMG saga of Dylan, im convinced their early verbals are a ploy to buy time and keep the backlash at a minimum. Lil bro is probably looking for the bag. This time it’s not a Dodge.

If Keylan wasn’t Dylan’s brother, would TD care as much? On3 has him as a 3* and while I think he is better than that, would most posters care if he was a random 3-4*?

Wow. You might want to back that up.

When an offer is rescinded or additional conditions are put on it, do we say that the coach has no integrity or character?

Or when a coach has been talking up the program hot and heavy and then jumps ship to another program, do we say that the coach has no integrity or character?

I would prefer that Keylan not make statements that appear to indicate that he is particularly interested in other programs.

But he hasn't decommitted. I'm more than happy to let this play out.

Who knows, maybe he is undercover, and he needs to pretend that he is not interested in LSU to convince a recruit.

If his last name wasn't Moses, there would be much less bitterness, finger pointing, and drama.

Doesn’t hurt me. Just calling it for what it is. It’s as contrived and scripted as the Landon Collins/ Willis/mom “saga”

To buy time?

Yall really are crazy. You think he committed and told Kelly he wanted to lead the class all to "buy time"?

And Keylan is much better than his on3 3 star ranking. Has nice hands for a linebacker.
