My point was that the difference between the two classes is negligible. Bama ended up leading by like 14 points. (which they will inevitably lose once Lacy officially doesn't qualify and whoever else they have).
Bell while he may turn out to be a nice player, likely won't become any sort of a contributor until his JR. or SR. year.
Players like that at skill positions typically don't tend to really make much if any impact unless they just blossom extremely late.

Bell is listed as signing LOI on Bama recruiting list. No big lost. They can have Lacy and Sentimore and LSU still hasn't lost anything.

FWIW I dont want the kid unless he can somehow gain 30 pounds in a few months and lose no speed. 160 for being 6-1?? I just want to see the gumps fall apart if he switches..

Miles has been a great coach to LSU, if he offers a kid a scholarship no matter what we think of a kid, we should trust Miles call at this point. The guys we lost, that sucks, but regardless Miles and his staff have signed one hell of a class.
