Baker has been doing work on this kid. As I’ve said before if we retain Baker I think Perkins is a Tiger

I don't see why kelly wouldn't retain baker.
Seems like he will have to decide if he wants to stay or go to smu as the dc.

Why are these mutually exclusive? Can't he recruit and put a staff together? What, for example, would prevent him from visiting Madison Prep, Catholic or U High while putting his staff together?

Why do you say this? I would think with an unsettled staff, it's even more important for Kelly to be getting out there front and center.

Anyone know if Perkins is planning to commit at ESD or in Feb? If he's a Feb commit, we might have a chance to make a good impression in his hometown for the bowl game on Jan 4th. :)
