Visiting Texas this weekend. Sounds like it will be a hard pull to get him now. Texas selling him on being the next Ja'Tavion Sanders.

Well if we don’t get him this round maybe we can get him in 2 years if he doesn’t like the new head coach at Texas ?

I feel like Sark's on the same leash as Jimbo. As soon as Jimbo gets fired, Sark is gone. Texas won't allow A&M to one up them on a coaching search.

With two TE's in this class, probably will be hard to sign more high schoolers. I know we have a need, but that's still a hard sell.
Probably need to add 1 or 2 in the portal.

I could see that. I know Texas fans are about done with him already so I wouldn’t be shocked if it happens as soon as next year.
And you have to think Jimbo better win a bunch next year or he’s done.

On a serious note I'd love to have him as a player really. Definitely not a grade risk, we need TEs, and he has the foundation to be a pretty good one (development required); he's not a day 1 starter but he ain't a "project" either. Just needs to get coached up and built up.

Pimpton would have just been icing on the cake. Feel really good about the two incoming freshmen tight ends we having committed and could also see us bringing in a transfer for added depth. Add that to Mason Taylor and our TE room has been upgraded for the 2023 season.
