Man you can defend your position, but the village has pretty much spoken nothing you say will change there views. I agree with you.
Just like these guys say things about kids you can say the same thing about coaches at LSU. Be straight with the kid and tell him the truth we are evaluating you are passing on you.

Message to all it's called recruiting no matter if you take him or not you still contact him to get to the next kid or kids.

It was the highest average rating class we've ever signed (going back to like 2000-2001 ish in 247)

Also, going by number of points:

2017: 288.21 (#7)
2016: 291.06 (#3) - 2017 class would rank 5th this year
2015: 282.35 (#6) - 2017 class would rank 3rd this year
2014: 299.30 (#2)
2013: 281.03 (#6)
2012: 247.12 (#14)
2011: 274.04 (#8)
2010: 263.70 (#8)
2009: 291.33 (#1)
2008: 255.34 (#12)

So 288.21 is just 3 points off our #1 class from 2009. This year you saw even more top talent go to the top few teams. It seems to be getting worse and worse in that aspect. 3 teams had over 300 points this year which has never happened before I believe.

Our class this year, compared directly to previous classes, is great. Best average we've ever had and 4th highest points, I would go to bet we signed more kids in those years of 290+ as well than we did this year.

They have super talent but their program is a joke. Got 2-3 guys that can coach. Everyone else is just there.

You don't know recruiting obviously we had a better class the previous year. Les last recruiting year. So you are one to believe that letting great talanted players go to your rival is smart. Not to mention the rival that has been kicking our arse the last couple of years. Real smart!

The frick are you talking about. Per player, it was the highest rated class we've had. Per ranking it was the fourth highest class we've had since 2001. The 2016 class was great. What does that have to do with what we are talking about?

So he says LSU isn't Louisiana built anymore? Well, LSU has 2 all purpose QBs on the roster who are from Louisiana and neither has seen the field yet as one is a RS Freshman and the other an early signee from the 2017 class.

Something kids in Louisiana and some LSU fans should understand is that LSU can only take so many kids from Louisiana and the state produces far more FBS level players each year than LSU can absorb. Louisiana produces 90-95 FBS level kids per year and can only sign 25 maximum. Usually LSU will sign around 15 Louisiana players in a class so it is an honor for these kids to play for their home state at LSU but LSU simply cant take everybody.

these boys tryna get out of Louisiana mane. I cant blame them. toodles my gee. but its plenty more fish in the sea. I say it every post. we start winning then they will come. they may not come from Louisiana like in the past but heck when u take 3 of the top 7 players from texas you good and u get a couple from florida you good. with coach o we may start getting the Carolinas and ol boy with usc tides never know may get a couple from the west coast. man we haven't even got to the spring game and people freaking out over somebody visiting Kansas lol and someone stating they wont come to a Louisiana school as if kids don't lie or make things up. just win baby and we will see if his tone change and if it don't who cares we will just snatch up someone else.

U idiot you said it was the highest class ranking we had in awhile and thats false. So what are you talking about we should start to filter dummies on here. You just killed yourself! Okay we finished 7th what was the previous years ranking? GtFOh

Why would you let quality players get away from your home state to your biggest rival?

Hey dumbass, I'm talking about the class rating per player which was around 93. 4th highest rated class( based on score of 288) since 2001. How fricking stupid are you that you can't understand that. Our class last year was only 2-3 points higher (291). Do you even follow recruiting? There's more to it than the national ranking dumb frick.

When did I ever say we should let players go out of Louisiana?

Do you speak English? The fourth highest rated class in 17 years is damn good coming out of the cluster that was this year. Can we do better? Yes we can. I fully expect us to sign a top 3 class in 2018. Go suck start a shotgun genius.

Per player, highest rated class we've signed.

not necessarily. LSU still needs to put in the work to secure commitments just like any other school not named bama. Kind of stupid to think other wise if you have ever followed recruiting over the last 20 to 40 years. It's not like it was in 1963 anymore.
