Everything from that seems understandable to me, except his kneejerk idea to say he won't be playing college in Louisiana.

I think Canada needs to go see him asap, and should have done so already.

He actually wants to be offered by LSU.

He's had an offer for a long time. He wants to talk to the OC who according to him, hasn't contacted him.

If the OC doesn't want him what's the problem why shouldn't he be thinking about he is going to do after high school early smh folks really If it we my kid In his position I wouldn't allow him to sit around waiting on what any school thats not sure if they want him is going to do

You think Bama or Clemson are only signing kids from their state? Take the best available. These coaches are also super busy. They dont need to contact every kid in the state if they dont plan on recruiting them. Bama is the only school that will consistently take kids from LA and that will stop as soon as Saban retires which may be a few years from now. Good thing is recruiting is a national game now. Louisiana is a home base but but the reach is literally international. LSU will find the kids they need to succeed, even if a few coaches want to boycott. Hell, I doubt they could even keep their kids from committing to LSU if they truly wanted to come here. I know I wouldn't let my coach do that.

Brock Berlin says "hi".

Nothing could beat the melt of when Berlin decided to choose the Gators in the 2000 class.
Then of course there was John David Booty.
Rodgers has a right to choose where he goes.
If this is because of Brandon Harris' treatment then so be it.
Harris has had every opportunity regardless of what his HS coach thinks. Besides there is a new offensive philosophy today.

I don't know what's happening with our in state recruiting, but it seems we turned LSU around with "Boys from the Boot" Now it seems as though it's "Boys from everywhere but the Boot".

This is big boy recruiting and LSU recruits on a national scale right now. You go out and get the best players you can.

Correct. He lost out to Jessie Palmer and then transferred to Miami.
