Only beef I have with Vol is that he's far too optimistic. If you're an insider, posting unabridged information is your value. If you start adding your own opinion or spin, usually cryptically, you deserve the heat when if backfires. The cryptic stuff let's posters run wild, and he makes no efforts to reign in their theories.

Note that a guy like Shea doesn't get a ton of flak be abuse he typically shares the raw information without his own purple and gold glasses hyping it up.

Entirely too reasonable. Vol is getting bashed today because kids flipped.

In Vol's defense, numerous proven insiders on pay boards were wrong on the same players.

There's no full proof method of predicting the mind of an 18 year old. If they say they are on board, what else can you do?

It’s frustrating and disheartening that recruiting has come to this, but it has.

I think for most of us, it’s just a reminder to not get emotionally invested in it.

It’s impossible to predict

It's not your fault about Burton, Jarrett or Burch. The fault here lies with the staff. Once again they counted their chickens before they hatched. Happened with Surtain, the DL last year and cutting kids this year. They decided to go hell bent and it cost them. It happens.

Also doesn't help all the sunshine that was pumped about many if these kids. Now that likely is on the staff as well since they're the ones that leaked the info out. Problem is insiders, not vol in particular, spread this info and gets everyone buzzed explaining away all the cuts and it bit all of us.

Now, for the guys that have been calling out all the chicken littles l, or melters or edge of the cliff guys, some of you have some crow to eat. How are those cliffers looking now? It's not melting to question things or to not fall Hook line and sinker for all the sunshine. Been a lot of people called dumbasses on this board the past month. Whos the dumbasses now? Surely most don't take offense to such things but it goes to show who was really jacking all those threads bitching and moaning about folks questioning the info put out. Hindsight is a bitch.

I find it kinda funny how everyone said the 2018 class was the worst ever but it’s produced what we now see happening on the field. People who talk the most usually know very little.
