Met Lindsey Scott after the spring game. He couldn't wait to sign autographs for my son and his friend. What an outstanding young man to talk to. My wife doesn't follow sports, but LS had my wife tearing up when he was telling us how blessed and grateful he was to be where he's at with the opportunity he was given.

Back on topic, he was taller than I expected to be honest. Pretty sure he was taller than Drew Brees when I first met him.

If they were going to lie about his height, they would say he is 6-0 or 6-1. He was likely a legitimate 5-11 when LSU put the tape in him.

I for one hope he ends op being 6+. Not because it'll make him better, but because I don't feel like hearing Gary ramble on about how goddam short he is every Saturday.

It absolutely will make him better. All else being equal, a taller QB is better because he'll see the field better.

I grew 3" after high school, oh wait, never mind

It can happen, you actually can keep growing until around 21.

I was pretty much 5'11 (borderline 6ft) all throughout high school.
When I was around 20-21 I actually grew to legit 6'1

It definitely can happen.

Although Scott seems to be much more stockier than I ever was.. not sure if that plays a factor into it. Idk if he will grow much more

Without doubt. Don't know his genetic history but certainly some people grow until their early 20s. Some people don't even get facial hair until their early 20s.

If in fact LS is 6'1, there is no amount of intense fapping that can justify my excitement level.

If it is the case, I can't imagine how many recruiters will stomach the feeling of Him putting up heisman numbers after they turned him down because of his height.

Sounds strikingly similar to what every Aggie was saying last year about Kyler Murray. Only now after being spurned do they admit that he is a legitimate 5'9". I hope nothing but the best for Scott but he looks short in every picture I've seen.

You can never trust a team's claim on player height. Also, here is what the Internet has taught me about men's height:

-Average height guys are ALL either 5'10, 6 foot, or 6'2.

-If you're under 5'10 you round up because it sounds good.

-If you're anywhere around 5'10 you claim 6 foot.

-If you're actually 6 foot, you have to add to account for the fact you're taller than all the guys claiming 6 foot, so you claim 6'2.

This is silly. Of course a 6'0" Drew Brees is better that 6'6" Stephan Rivers. That's not the question. The question is: Is a 6'1" Lindsey Scott better than a 5'11" Lindsey Scott? The answer is obviously YES! Geez, we have some numbskulls on here.
