Unless they change the transfer portal, you’ll have to re-recruit him every year he’s here. Doesn’t like how much he’s getting paid? Playing time? frick it—time to transfer to the rival.

By alleging he is "on the take" are you suggesting he's doing anything other than getting as much financial reward as his talents will permit? Isn't that what nearly every player in his shoes is doing?
Is there anything wrong with that?
Perkins didn't make the NIL rules, he is just trying to get as much as he can out of them.

That's just the inconvenient truth moving forward with all highly recruited blue chips. You either adapt and the players get paid or you just dont recruit those players. The latter results in 8-4/9-3 seasons.

They will structure NIL deals to account for this,if player leaves early they don’t get the rest of the money for example.Only way to fight the portal is with money unfortunately.The portal is one of the least thought out things the NCAA has ever done

Never should have had limitations on students to begin with. If coaches can change jobs without penalty, players definitely should be able to.
