You're in for a rude awakening then. I don't think y'all understand how big this stuff is. You could see the coaching staff cleaned out including O on top of bigger punishment penalties. Of course they're eying that part. You think rival schools are getting in the head of recruits? Don't be stupid. Use your common sense.

??? Did I say anything to refute your claim? I merely touted Earle's unique skillset

Because we never make the moves when we need to. E should have retired at the end of last season and Linehan was a bad hire regardless. Calloway knows offense, he is a bright young mind with creativity and has the success to show for it. He should have been moved up next E at the very least. And promoted to OC at the most.

He definitely needs a look as PGC. Why I like him:
As OC led Samford to the top offense in the FCS.
His QB won the Walter Payton award.
Coached under Saban at Bama.
When Brennan struggled early, he credited Callaway with helping him correct his mistakes.
Has coached up our true FR QBs.
Has coached both sides of the ball like Brady did which gives him insight into how to beat defenses.
Coaches a modern spread style offense.
Energetic, X's and O's coach that players love.
2019 finalist for top assistant FCS coach
He's been the guy coaching up our QBs and this past weekend Max Johnson:
-Was the first true freshman quarterback in LSU history to beat a team ranked in the Top 10 in first career start.
-His 3 TDs and 21 completions were the most of any LSU true freshman in their first career start
-It also marked the first time in LSU history that the Tigers threw 3 TD passes in a game played in Gainesville
There's a reason Russ an Max were doing the griddy in the locker room Saturday night.

The offense isn't the problem. You think Earle is salivating over playing in A&M's high powered passing attack? Mond is gone and they have a true freshmen who's done nothing so far that's supposed to take his place. A&M averages 13 more total yards per game than us and we've played a true freshmen QB for most of the year. We have the 19th ranked passing offense. A&M is ranked 66th.
Y'all just always think the grass is greener in other people's yards, but the reality is Texas A&M's offense is mediocre, with a senior QB plus 4 seniors and a borderline 5* sophomore on the offensive line. Their future on offense isn't brighter than ours by a longshot.

Ed needs to go get Kendal Briles away from Arkansas and promote Russ Calloway to PGC so when Briles lights it up with LSU talent on the field and snags he first head coaching job they can just slide Calloway into the OC spot.
Jeff Lebby. Have you seen Ole Miss this year?

I don’t fault anyone wanting to see how the coaching carrousel works out

WTF has he done to be named OC at a Top 10 Power 5 program?
What had Brady done? Would you take him as OC today? I think you would. And it’s not like he’s never done the job. Callahan has been a successful OC and gotten guys to the NFL from FCS.
While I may not trust Ensminger’s playcalling, I do think he knows talent and he’s also the man who recommended that we hire Brady. O isn’t going to promote Callahan unless E says he’s ready. You can bank on that. After spotting our last up and comer, I’ll trust him again if Callahan gets the nod.
If Callahan is only promoted to PGC, then you’ll know that Ensminger told O on his way out that he’s still got more to prove.

I agree, more positive stuff on Callaway who has worked on both sides of the ball, including as a recruiting coordinator. Keep Russ on staff with a promotion, otherwise another SEC school will poach him just like they did with Brady and Munoz. With LSU's talent, I believe he could make our offense tops in the SEC/FBS which would further help recruiting the much needed OL.
.... A former quarterback and team captain at Valdosta State, Callaway got his start in coaching as Nick Saban's inside linebackers graduate assistant (worked under Kirby Smart) at Alabama in 2011. After two seasons with the Crimson Tide and two as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Murray State, Callaway went to Samford in 2015 and helped the team rank among the top five in the FCS in passing offense two of the last three seasons, including No. 1 in 2018 with an average of 392.7 passing yards per game. With Callaway as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Devlin Hodges won the 2018 Walter Payton Award as the top offensive player in the FCS and broke the FCS career passing yards record previously held by a former NFL MVP - Steve McNair.
quotes from 9/23/20 .... “He’s very smart, very intelligent, knows football and I think the most unique thing about him is that he’s worked on both sides of the ball,” said Iowa running backs coach Derrick Foster, who worked with Callaway at Samford. “He has it. He has the tools. He has the ability. He has the mindset and can coordinate an offense. He understands how to cater to his players. And he’s full of energy. I loved being around him, enjoyed coaching with him and can’t say enough about him.”
.... “Russ had a great experience at Samford, was an outstanding coordinator, did a lot of good things,” Ed Orgeron said. “But he’s hungry. He’s been to big-time schools. I didn’t know how good he was, to be honest with you, until we got him. And his enthusiasm is infectious. He’s an outstanding coach and taught well by his dad and learned well. I do believe the guy’s going to be a coordinator and a head coach, and it won’t be long because he’s one of those type minds. He’s a great worker. He’s here at 5 every morning working with Coach Ensminger. Has a bright future ahead for him.”

Did you watch the game when we played them? He would have been booed out of the stadium had he called that game for LSU. Do you run your qb on 3rd and 7 5 times and only make 1 and considered good? No i will pass on him for sure.

You sound dumb
I mean they cant lose him because they wont be able to replace his skillset.
So, if they lose him who do you have them replacing him with?
