He's been pretty livid today about a video he posted to his twitter:

Concerned Father Finds Out High School Coach Was Hiding College Letters

quote:

High School coaches, this has to stop. It's bigger than you! The nerve of some to question motives of others.

quote:

I am livid right now and it's time to take action. Too many coaches acting as an inhibitor to the recruitment of their kids. I'm sick of it.

quote:

Throw stones at me if you want to. I'm used to it, but it will not slow me down or stop me. Mark my words, this will change.

quote:

Story: I send 3 schools to view a kid with 1 offer. All 3 schools were blocked from the kid. Really? Should be ashamed of yourself. Everyday

quote:

Beware: I know a lot of your secrets and exposing you guys won't be an issue for me. This will change and our coalition will make sure of it

quote:

Just happened: SEC school visits a HS, head coach gives zero names, makes zero introductions, shared no info. Happens every day. Sad

I saw that on his twitter line.

I never understood why high school coaches hid letters from kids. That shite has been going on for years.

My guess is that he will give them a chance to make it right. But I'm not sure what he means by that

I'm pretty sure he'll make sure all of his ducks are in a row before he starts "changing the world".

It's downright pathetic that coaches do this and it happens when they are getting something out of it behind the scenes.

Is this legit, the video?

Why are letters being sent to the coach, and not the player?

Is that a normal thing?

Lots of coaches at colleges have no idea how to contact a player without going through their school.

I think it is pretty lazy if u can't figure out how to get something directly to a player. With that said, coaches should give everything to the kids.

Schools cannot contact a player directly until 9/1 of their junior years I believe. So a lot of mail and contact has to go through the school.

What is the point of that rule? Middle man isn't saving the kid time there.

You don't think a coach bumping into a kid while at his school vs a coach calling him or visiting him at his house saves the kid time? Imagine you have 30 schools-conservative for some of these kids-looking to recruit you. You don't think allowing them unlimited access would be a huge burden on the kid and his parents?

Why is it lazy? How do you get the contact info of a 15 year old without local help?

I didn't say unlimited access.

I don't need a school's help to find someone's address. U think LSU trusts some Alabama high schools? And vice versa.

Personally I think schools should be able to mail the kid whatever. Like you said, what does that hurt?

Actually, that is surprisingly legal. Where else do people sort through somebody else's mail. They aren't the parents.
