Agree. I’d go Tight End and Cornerback as top priority for the last 3 spots. And use the 3rd spot on the best available guy at whatever position.

How that's possible unless he's a grad transfer? Window for spring was end of Jan to apply for transfers right

Idk all the details, that’s just what Thamel’s tweet says. That was really my only concern was him not being able to go through spring, but if he can I’m 100% in. Maybe we can finally have our Perrilloux. He definitely has the talent.

He's a graduate transfer, which means he'll be eligible to start the quarterback competition during spring football. He's expected to arrive mid-March, a source said, and his graduate program will allow to him enroll and be eligible. That will give Kelly, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and quarterback coach Joe Sloan a full spring and summer camp to evaluate the full quarterback competition.

Boom! Thanks for that. At least we won’t have to worry about anybody being under thrown this year with whoever starts.

The offense has a chance to be electric next year.

QB - Jayden Daniels
RB - John Emery, Noah Cain, Corey Kiner
WR - Boutte, BTJ, Hilton, Nabers, Lacy, Smith, Bech.

All operating and being coached in Kelly's / Denbrock's system.

What Daniels offers with the read option alone is deadly. He is a legitimate running and passing threat. Surround him with our skill guys and let Kelly/Denbrock/Sloan coach him up, and he will absolutely thrive at LSU.

Yea if we can get a Tight End transfer and the OLine can come together and be good the offense can be REALLY good.

Not gonna lie. I’m going to feel pretty bad for Myles Brennan if he’s doesn’t get the job.

I would too. I want Miles to win the job and have a great season. But if/when that inevitable injury happens, I will feel less bad knowing we have an experienced backup.

And how is this going to work?

I was curious how he can participate in Spring Practice if he is not in school… have the rules changed?

Does he have 3 years to play 2 or 2 years to play 2?

If LSU has a great QB, great. Competition is the name of the game, and I've always been a Brennan fan.
If the coaches believe we need another QB, who am I to disagree.

Interesting

IMO he’s the front runner

That's absolutely silly.

Not saying he couldn't win out, but he's behind the 8 ball to start.
