Not technically mods but some guys very close to the program.

But I agree they do seem to be wrong often.

He just posted on his insta story something along the lines of “#1 QB #1 RB #1 CB loading” on a Texas commit post. These kids do this all the time and I have no information, but never fun to see. He’s my personal #1 want in this class let’s make this happen CBK!

Tyrann Mathieu recruiting Toviano for us. You love to see that from an LSU DB legend!

Mathieu is LSU’s greatest ambassador. It’s understated how he shows so much love to the school/program that let him go.

I don’t understand the dream school shite

How is that a bad thing? If it’s your dream school and they offer then you go , right?

Seems extremely simple
I just don’t understand how that whole thing started and when

Usually it's a school they first liked as a child.

Maybe they visit and it's not what they thought it would be. Maybe the school isn't a fit.

Oregon is very far away from Arlington and culturally it's even more different, even if you wouldn't call yourself a conservative.

This is why Oregon has done well with Texas players that have some issues that need to get far away from where they live.

This Toviano kid is the opposite of any of that.

If it’s the Texas mods you’re referring too, just want to say that most of those dudes are freaking idiots that don’t know $hit. I realize that’s a pretty harsh take, but in all seriousness I have read a decent bit of their material and it’s astonishing how often it is inaccurate….

Remember when that Texas A&M guy followed a recruit into the bathroom? What a fricking weirdo.

I'm not sure why I caught some flak when I made that thread. I guess the cat thing was a little stupid, but I figured people would assume I just didn't want to name my source. It just seems that if someone that's been on TD for over 10 years that never posts recruiting info, suddenly chimes in and says they heard something, it's probably factual. Especially when you live in the same town as the recruit.

Anyway, at this point I don't expect him to flat out tell anyone where he's going until he announces. Otherwise I'd check once schools back in session.

edt: Then again it's the recruiting board. Everyone gets crap.

I found out something recently. This info is well after the fact, but I don't see any reason not to share (other than getting trolled, which I don't really care about).

Apparently at the end of the school year in May, Javien said nothing was official but that he was going to LSU. So, he's been leaning our way hard for quite a while. NIL might be a factor though. Hopefully he stays in our corner.

That's all I know.

If he does pick LSU I am going to send him some Gumbo and welcome him to the family.

Taylor Hamm if I remember correctly.

We've recruited Toviano; the "salesmanship" was successful. Now need to close. Get him a NIL deal and close it. We will have to recruit him to the end because our competition will fight tooth and nail for him to the finish line. That NIL deal will be our best shield and the earlier we get it in front of him the stronger shield it will be.
