He got passed up at A&M while out for injury, but it was by a guy they all see as a very good player. He should still be an upgrade over Sam and Burns and has SEC plenty of experience.

Sage Ryan is a lot better than this board credits him. Fans have a bad habit of saying everyone on a bad unit is bad.
Unless we have a lot of luck in the portal - and Gilbert at safety is not part of that - we will miss Sage next season.

lol listen, I’m all about not bashing kids that play a sport, especially on a unit that’s this poorly coached….. BUT I feel like we’ve seen enough of Sage, he’s just not it, neither is Burns for that matter.

He may not be as bad as some make him out to be but we’ve seen enough of him to safely say the guy isn’t a very good football player. He’s easily replaceable
