Something must be going on behind the scenes with the DL. Maybe meatball is being let go or something. Because signing day, now this makes no sense whatsoever.

Remember when Ed Oliver helped us recruit Weathersby (or some other O Lineman a year older than him)?

Remember when Phidarian Mathis helped push Rashard Lawrence to LSU?

Those guys become bigger targets because it makes us hurt more when they go somewhere else.

Just like Roy saying he was going to take a leadership role in recruiting this class to LSU. All it did was make other school push harder for him. To sow discord and plant seeds of doubt for every other recruit we're going after.

I'm just telling you what the man explained during the interview that I watched.

I will yield to your obviously superior football intellect which I'm sure has taken you farther in life than you ever imagined

LSU is bringing in a loaded DL class for 2020 and there's a lot of very good players still high on LSU. I thought Roy showed signs of greatness. But, there's several more players on LSU's list that have shown just as much, if not more, greatness. I will always hope that Louisiana players go to LSU, but as long as Orgeron and staff go out of state and pull in quality layers losing one or two a year won't hurt.

At 18 I was the world’s greatest jackass. I remember being enamored with Wake Forest and Baylor because of their really cool brochures and some completely false “feel” for the school that existed in my head only. Which is what I try to remember every time some HS kid starts to act like prom Queen. I have an 18 year old son. 18 is a special kind of clueless. It’s all just blind feel.

I hope Roy just wants some visits and comes back around on signing day but with an 18 year old kid, who knows.

Irrelevant to the fact that the coaching staff has failed to solidify the DL. Now I’m not saying the decommit is the end of the world. It’s early in the recruiting season. Things can and will change. But if Ed O and Meatball fail to get some major talent (and several of them) in the d line this year, it might be time to re-evaluate things.

They have a new Superintendent that appears to be cracking down on recruiting. Also, Gordon’s money ls leaving and Mahaffey left.

The BS about tenured professors/big money being needed for entry is just plain wrong.

I don’t mind getting out of state guys that want to be at LSU. But there is a problem wjth losing elite in state talent because you can’t count on out of state talent tk stay committed.

Even though Orgeron is having trouble wjth instate talent at this tkme.

This should be the straw that breaks the camel's back for Meatball.

Let's all say Adios to Meatball.
