I have no clue, but maybe he doesn't want to be included in a DT class that includes 5 players. We had 3 guys committed & we were looking for more. Like I said...I have no clue, just speculating.
Hopefully, he ends up here in the end. He's a damn good player.

I think its just a poor choice of words. Think he means hes moving forward from here. How i read it anyway.
Its the thing to do these days it seems. Kids these days announce a commitment and in the same statement say theyre still open to other schools. Its just the reality of this "look at me" era of society.

I noticed he’s retweeting Major Burns and Christian Harris trying to sway him to their schools. Long way to go in his recruitment, but what could look better than what we have to offer? Depth chart looks great for him to get early PT and his family can see him play every game.

I don't think you can say for sure based off his comments. I'm no insider, but I don't think it would be wise to assume anything, other than he decommitted, from his comments.
I'm sure someone with an inside connection will come along eventually & shed some light.

A lot of kids who go to U-High like to leave the state. Not just the athletes, but the regular student body as well. Hopefully he comes back around, but it is what it is.
