Will he be eligible immediately?

Has to file a waiver I believe, but I assume it will get approved.

He has to get a waiver. NCAA issued a memo last week clarifying the waiver process for players that have already used their 1-time transfer, and it didn't sound good. The memo laid out a very narrow and restrictive path for a waiver. Hopefully, Cook got good advice and will get a waiver.

The ncaa has a history of hooking LSU up in these situations so I’m sure it’ll work out.

Baw is Louisiana through and through

Cook/Miller/Wright/Fountain/(Mack or Baker)
Would be a very solid starting lineup. If Hayes/Ward/Reed all stay that would be a strong bench as well.
I won't get my hopes up though tPortal can blow this all up very quickly

That little twitch in my body is hope trying to creep in...

I’m hoping for the best but Cook and Wright are not going to make you that much better. Wright only started half the games last year and only averaged 10 ppg. Cook still has to prove he can do it in the sec.

The AAC ain't the SEC but it's big step up from the OVC which is what we were working with this past season.

Cook will be infinitely better than what we had at of last season at pg, even if he is bad. We probably had the worse pg play I have ever seen in the sec.

Cook has proven himself in the SEC. His FRESHMAN year at LSU, he averaged 44% from 3, 47% from 2, and 77% from FT. He also averaged 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 4.3 steals, and 2.7 turnovers per 40 minutes.
Compare that to Justice Hill at LSU, where he averaged 26% from 3, 32% from 2, 57% from FT. He also averaged 2.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.4 turnovers per 40 minutes.
Cooks' shooting and steals are huge upgrades.

Considering we only had 2 players last year do that, you should probably consider not posting again.
