Forget the QB's. Our room is loaded, one of those QB's changed high schools to not sit behind Howard, and the other one is a Manning. Forget Curtis. This staff never had a chance to make it up. The guys you worry about are in bold. We need those guys, and if we lose one, you go get somebody from another state. That's how you judge this recruiting staff.

Also, we just have to accept the reality that some of these kids aren't being recruited. They're on an auction block. We'll lose those, and we need to get over it. Until the NCAA steps in, we can't afford to spend 7 figures on 18 year olds.

Freeman is killing it.

They have a bunch of momentum with him taking over.

Seems to be leaving the old white guy in the dust as a fading memory right now.

Yea frick all that. LSU took a big PR hit by keeping Verge’s worthless arse. Guy should have been terminated immediately after the husch blackwell report. But lsu stood by their guy.

So yea, his talented son needs to come to lsu. Let’s be real here, parental morals go out the window when LSU kept him employed with a hefty salary and an easy job.

When Ohio St brings Freeman back to reality, will the class have a shake up?

Or, in this hypothetical scenario, would Freeman try to use it to his advantage by saying "See? This is the talent gap we currently have: we need YOU to help close it"?

iden Ausberry Fong’d to Norte Dame
Curtis to USC

??????? He's 100% CB'd to OSU. New DC Jim Knowles has been to see him a zillion times and started the relationship while at Oklahoma State.

Ohio State has a chance, but USC is in front now

You seem to have it all wrong. No one expects Ausberry to force his kids to play at LSU. However when neither one seems even slightly interested, it’s legitimate to wonder what he has said to them or what they have witnessed that has turned them off. Boys are influenced by their fathers. Their lack of interest says as much about him as it does about them.
Just my armchair analysis.

I’m not going to change my prediction again, but Curtis might go to any of his top three.

Ohio State might seal the deal with his last official, and Wisconsin is legitimately in it.

No, because with the schedule they have they’ll be in the playoff talk come November.

Can we please stop talking about Curtis? I respect everything you bring to the board Mr. Clean but at this point who cares about Curtis? He obviously isn’t coming here so let’s just let that die now.

If LSU would’ve had Coach House a year ago, Curtis quite possibly would be signing with LSU.
