Their assumption is that a kid who reclassifies won’t be as physically ready to play a year early. That may hold in many cases, but Ryan Williams certainly has proven that sometimes talent is just talent.
I agree it seems like too big of a drop considering how they define 5 stars as first round draft pick-level prospects. If that’s the case, reclassifying shouldn’t really matter.
