I believe so....

Maybe he's window shopping NILs.

No big deal that we didn't have anything planned until last week. Perkins, Harris, and now Matthews going to be in aggotville instead of BR.

True but that was Pre NIL, this is Post. Lots of recruits are probably, (the 5 star guys) go to recruiting and get a sense what their NIL potential market value is.

I feel like something had to happen, huh? The past weeks Jordy and others were praising him for being the head recruiter in the class. Why the sudden change of heart?

Give me a date of when these 2 de-committed. 247 keeps pretty good records of all of that and it shows no de-commitment.

If you look at his commitment, it kind of came out of nowhere as he was expected to choose a school later in the process. I think he realized he wanted the full wine and dine experience and the only way you get that is to be uncommitted. In the end, I think he returns to us because of personal relationships with the staff and other commits.

Just pay the man what he wants and get him committed back. That's the game now nothing we can do about it.

He will absolutely be back. He'll get his Trans Am from A&M and be driving it around BR. We are gonna have to come off some more of those legal dollars though.

What major companies are there in BR willing to “pay the man”? It’s not that simple. And the school legally can have nothing to do with it. Texas has oil money.

We have chicken tenders and a mediocre regional restaurant chain.

I get what you're saying as LSU not being a big market team is going to be an issue for NIL. The thing is though, it probably isn't very hard for boosters to funnel money through a local business as a front for NIL sponsorship. This is definitely where my concern lies with LSU we can't really compete with some universities when you're looking at what you said above that they can offer in sponsorship. LSU is going to have to get creative.

Louisiana is the epitome of good ole boys network and they'll do whatever it takes to keep the football engine moving. They'll think of something.

This is how I figured NIL was gonna work for a lot of teams. It makes it astronomically easier to launder money given to recruits.

Let's be real. If you don't want to be in the same class as Walker Howard as an elite in state prospect, your priority is money and not winning.
