If you are a top 25 recruit in the nation, I would recommend you don’t commit until the day of signing, either early period or in Feb.

I think you would end up maximizing your monetary offers in the end if you do it that way. If you are true top 25, a spot will be held for you.

He was highly overrated.

Kinda glad he’s gone tbh.

Man on the Jordy Culotta show 2 weeks ago he said he was all in and knew he always wanted to go to LSU. Sounded like a great kid too. He may just want to go on some visits but ultimately end up at LSU, hopefully that's the case.

you’ll be the first to post in the commit thread when he comes back on signing day

Are you just trolling the board now? Also said Stingley wasn't the best CB on the team.

This says to me that a massive offer was put on his plate that he couldn’t say no to.

That article probably took 10 minutes to write

And the article below was done published two days ago, could go either way he could be so fresh it was easy to write, or the writer could have known something from doing the work on this article.

I do think he is a Tiger at the end of the day.

Welcome to NIL Recruiting

Y'all are melting for no reason. Looks like a smart and diligent way to milk as much cash as possible using the leverage of all the richest programs competing with each other. We have a full season before this class adjusts to the new reality.

These kinds of things are why football recruiting is no longer fun to follow.

This right here. The kids lie and mislead for their own amusement, and transfer when things don’t go their way. It has sucked virtually all the fun out of college football for me.

While this was a pretty big surprise and it sucks that he did this, I am honestly not that worried. I think in the end he comes back to LSU. There's been plenty of times we had kids commit early, then decommit, just to recommit back to us in the end.

Just wants attention again. He will be back

Its not the norm to have a recruit come back to LSU when we all think he will. This NIL will destroy college sports. And some programs will get away with tampering because of WHO THEY ARE.

Signing day is a long way away, so this story is not over. Actually, a smart move on his part because now he can really see who is willing to guarantee most NIL money and who is willing to pay more money underneath the table. This is the reality of recruiting 2021!

If he comes back, great. If not, we’ll put the full court press on Kamari Wilson and Austin Ausberry. LSU is DBU for a reason. We’ve still got the in state 5 star QB and OT, this class is still going to be great. Hurts but we loaded up at safety last year. Geaux Tigers!

This is where the Gumps would say "Saban told him to look around. "

Isn't he going to the A&M pool party recruiting event this weekend?
